We recently purchased a property through Hamptons Caterham, and I cannot speak highly enough of the service we received, especially from Carrie. From the very start, she was a pleasure to deal with—professional yet real, striking that perfect balance of being approachable without trying too hard, which is something we really appreciated. Throughout the process, Carrie was always incredibly responsive, replying to emails on the same day and making an effort to call back promptly if she was unavailable. She truly went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly for us, making the whole buying experience remarkably simple and stress-free. What stood out most was that our conversations felt genuine. I wasn’t just dealing with an estate agent—Carrie’s approach felt much more personal, which made the entire experience so much more comfortable and enjoyable. Her professionalism, combined with a real personal touch, is what set Hamptons apart for us. My property was located out of their catchment area (Thornton Heath) but they were still keen to take it on. Selling and buying is generally stressful but the team here earned their fee in being on top of the chain and able to answer all of my questions very quickly at every stage. Even when the chain looked impossible the team (Amy supported by Tyrone) gave me confidence that it was progressing at the right pace. We also were able to beat the stamp duty holiday so that was a result. All in all a great team effort. Thanks all.
22nd Nov 2024 (12 days ago)Lydia, Harvey and Sky at move revolution have been fantastic so far. I interviewed four estate agents and decided to go with MR because they seemed to be more accurate with their valuations based on my research and observations of the local market over a considerable period of time. Importantly, Lydia’s knowledge of the market, direct communication and honesty confirmed my own research and as such put confidence in my decision to engage MR. The team were extremely quick and efficient in arranging photos, and getting our property on the market. Viewing were superbly managed through their app and via direct comms. Importantly the full time team themselves showed prospective buyers around our property as opposed to the “Saturday” team. Having ourselves viewed houses with other agents Saturday teams, it became apparent as to how poorly informed or interested they were in the properties we viewed, often with ourselves knowing more about the area, history of the houses etc Lydia, Harvey and Sky were the complete opposite - interested to in our property, and seemed excited about sharing its details with viewers. We received 6 offers after 12 days, and were very happy with the offer we accepted feeling it was very fair and reflected the value of our house. The post acceptance process has so far also been extremely efficient and very well managed, with the team having good links with solicitors they work with, and knowing who the best case handlers are for progressing our sale (and purchase). We’ve not yet completed, and I leave this review whilst mid process. At the moment I would absolutely recommend Lydia and her team, Harvey and Sky at Move Revolution Nuthill. I’m sure this will be fully reinforced once we have completed.

16th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Had an amazing afternoon tea experience. It is very expensive, but worth it if you are on a vacation or special trip! You get refills of all sandwiches/scones/pastries included in the price. I asked for extra scones to take home with me to my hotel for breakfast the next morning (they were the best scones I’ve ever had with delicious clotted cream and jam) and they happily did so in a beautiful packaged box - at no extra charge. The food and service are top notch

Richard has been very approachable and consistently attentive to my needs, providing excellent knowledge and service throughout the tenancy period. He goes above and beyond to help his clients – even assisting me in finding a reliable plumber to resolve some plumbing issues, despite my service package not including property management. Choose Folklands, and you’ll be as satisfied as I am.

29th Aug 2024 (14 weeks ago)We’ve had a brilliant experience with Oaks in Addiscombe. From first meeting Yousef when our house was valued through to dealing with Oscar managing our viewings to Dane completing all the activities required after we accepted an offer. It only took 6 weeks to get a good offer on our house, which we were really pleased with. One of the things I thought Oaks were very good at was communication - we were always kept updated with what was happening, did not need to chase for updates and I love the way they set up a WhatsApp group with me - working full time it’s not always easy to find the time to ring the Estate Agent or take a call from them so this meant we had a second, flexible method of communication. Really simple but incredibly effective. Oaks also have a panel of people they can recommend to you, for example solicitors, surveyors etc. Oaks made the whole process so easy. I would definitely recommend them.

5th Jul 2024 (22 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
