20th Sep 2024 (12 weeks ago)I've decided to give this a one-star rating, or even zero if possible. The agent, Sharone Balarajah, was incredibly rude. It's baffling to me how she even became an agent because she clearly lacks the ability to communicate with clients. Despite my attempts to explain, she was continuously shouting and rude, insisting that everything be done immediately because she was going on annual leave. It's unacceptable for Bernard Marcus Estate Agency to have agents like her, who seem to think they can insult clients. It felt like we were dealing with someone who had no regard for professionalism or basic courtesy. This behavior cannot be overlooked. It's imperative that this individual be confronted and sent for training. (FYI : This is Barnard Marcus Thornton Heath Croydon.) We want to remortgage our property

2nd Dec 2024 (11 days ago)Just had a very awful call with the owner of Ushers Estate agents, Michael. He was rude, condescending and not a team player. All I was asking for was a routine update on a sale and unfortunately received quite the opposite.
4th Oct 2024 (10 weeks ago)I don't normally leave reviews but I wanted to make sure that the work done by the team at Alan De Maid was recognised. I had a very difficult buyer and the team kept the sale on track with their communication and professionalism. In the end the sale went through and everyone was happy. A special mention to Richard, Rena, Amir and Ross as they were key in making the move happen
5th Sep 2024 (14 weeks ago)I sold a property for the first time and it was a long process due to buyers making an offer then pulling out. I was supported by Jake at Bairstow eves, Shirley throughout the process. He was professional, supportive, patient and answered any questions I had and didn’t make me feel like I was being a pain or stupid. Nothing was too much. He made a difficult and scary process easier and gave the time to listen and assist and teach me along the way. I would recommend Bairstow eves as an estate agents who support you through selling your house in a positive and stress free way and would definitely use them again. Please consider Bairstow eves when looking for an estate agents I highly recommend them. 2nd Aug 2024 (19 weeks ago)Rent from these people at your own risk.They offer the worst services ,send contractors into your apartment without your permission and when you complain they turn against you.I was forced to move out their property as I could not deal with the rudeness and poor treatment from staff.They started refurbishing my apartment with contractors running up and down the scaffolding and because I work nights,I had to start sleeping in a friends place during the day.And whenever I complained to them,they got rude.Even after I finally moved out,they completely kept my deposit silent and tried working with the landlord to retain the whole deposit.Now they try change their name from Madley thinking they can run away from all the bad deeds they have done.Use them at you own risk

29th Sep 2024 (11 weeks ago)Overall they have been a great estate agent. They originally valued the property at £450k which was too high and resulted in no viewings. I had to drop the price by £25k after 6 weeks so I think they got the valuation wrong originally. The team were great, communication was good with the team setting up a what’s app good.
