10th Jul 2024 (15 weeks ago)Beware of this Estate Agency - Specifically check before proceeding with an offer or purchase through G Herbert Banks, if they are aware of any active AG TAG attached to a property they are actively marketing for sale (be it with or without a Certificate of Lawfulness) it might save you a lot of money, time, effort and heartache in the long run.
19th Aug 2024 (9 weeks ago)Dixons were great from start to finish. We were first time buyers and very anxious stepping into the unknown with buying our first house. The team supported us throughout and no question was a stupid question. When our first property wasn’t progressing, due to the sellers, they were straight on the phone as soon as they found a suitable alternative property which met our needs. We managed to view before it went on the market and had the offer accepted within a few days. I could not recommend Dixons any higher. Big thanks to Christine and the entire team for their continued support and help with buying our first home.

When we wanted to make changes, such as altering the photographs or changing the price, these were actioned promptly and efficiently. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Taylors.

18th Mar 2024 (7 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
11th Oct 2024 (12 days ago)Honestly couldn’t recommend Katy and Rachel absolutely amazing! Professional and polite but gosh so knowledgeable, gave me information I didn’t realise I needed. They have gone over and beyond to assist even contacting the seller abroad and within 20 minutes I was told yes, now that’s impressive! This is a family business whose professional history is houses and building them, they know what they’re taking about. Amazing, amazing and would highly recommend. 5* +
20th Sep 2024 (5 weeks ago)I wanted to add a review about the most amazing experience my family had from Arden Estates. We have just exchanged on our house (sell and buy) which was handled by Leanne at the Worcester branch. She took over after the sales were agreed and I have to say that her professionalism, and understanding that this was very important to us, landed us the house of our dreams. She kept in regular contact with me via email and by phone on an almost daily basis to let me know the progress, ask questions or clarify questions I had. We had a bit of a difficult experience from the buyers but she managed it really well and ensured that the deal didn’t break down. A wonderful experience and one I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone. Arden as a whole is a very good estate agents and I would 100% use again.

Both were tricky purchases, but Zara was at hand to help us out, Zara even pointed me to a financial advisor who helped me get mortgages and close off the purchase. I highly recommend OPA for any investment property purchases.

5th Jul 2024 (16 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
