Our lettings agent Duncan went above and beyond to get us in for viewings and secure our flat. Duncan and the team were super responsive and helpful in answering any questions we had which made for a really smooth process!
28th Mar 2025 (30 days ago)Had a terrible experience working with Joe. He was completely unprofessional and rude and seemed to have little to no knowledge of the rental market. Communication was very poor, had to chase him all the time for updates, and it was clear he didn’t know how to do his job properly and he doesn’t want this job. Would not recommend working with him or this agency.

24th Mar 2025 (5 weeks ago)I’ve been a tenant with Ellis & Co for four years, and unfortunately, my experience has been consistently disappointing. - Appointments are unreliable — more than once, they either didn’t show up or cancelled last minute. - Emails are rarely answered; I have to call nearly every time just to get a response. - They use the cheapest contractors, and the quality reflects that. One handyman even told me a proper oven/hob install wasn’t possible — I ended up fixing it myself. - The staff is often rude or misinformed when I speak to them, though I’ve heard they’re much more responsive to landlords. The only reason I’ve stayed is because I’m on great terms with my landlady — but if you have a choice, I’d strongly suggest looking for a different agency.

First as a landlord, they managed my flat - made sure I got good tenants, managed all the billing and always solved issues on time. As a result, the flat was always in great condition. Their lettings team are nice hardworking professionals. Then Circa helped me sell my flat in a very difficult economic environment and with a ground rental lease which was difficult to navigate. Ashley and the sales team involved proved patience, resilience and great client engagement especially from James proved to be crucial for a successful sale.
