24th Sep 2024 (8 mo. ago)The company is a very responsible company with enthusiastic and patient service. In August 2022, I was nearly 70 years old and came to Newcastle with my granddaughter who was not yet 15 years old to attend high school. The first difficult task was renting a house. The company's new manager received us and helped us choose a house. He was not afraid of trouble until he helped us find a satisfactory one. I rented it for two years and received meticulous care and assistance. Around Christmas of the first year, the warm air broke down in the evening and the weather was particularly cold. The company employees had already finished work. I called Manager Zeng, who arrived soon and personally repaired it until late at night, which moved us a lot. Due to my lack of English proficiency, Manager Zeng specifically designated a young employee named Xiaoqiu who can speak Chinese to contact me. Xiaoqiu is also very enthusiastic and responsible. I sincerely thank the new manager and his team of this company from the bottom of my heart!

15th Oct 2024 (8 mo. ago)I recently rented and sold a flat with bridgfords Washington and unfortunately I’ve been left very disappointed with the service provided. Bridgfords were noticeably more expensive than competitors (I.e. 40% premium on other estate agents) and the service provided when selling the flat was poor overall. When I’d call their offices I would either not be able to get through or would be promised a callback which wouldn’t materialise which was very frustrating. The sale of my flat took 10 months with no chain and it realistically shouldn’t have taken anywhere near this long. A lot of the delays were caused by unresponsiveness either by bridgfords or by their recommended solicitors (which were also unresponsive and expensive compared to competitors). This poor service was disappointing and could have largely been avoided. Without emails/calls chasing there were weeks which would pass when nothing progressed. I was advised by bridgfords to end tenancy (2 months notice) as I was under the impression that completion was imminent, after tenants moved out the flat was empty for nearly 2 months which increased unnecessary costs of owning the vacant flat. Unfortunately at this stage I wouldn’t recommend using bridgfords.

From day one the contact was very professional and always fast at answering any questions we had helping us to be a ease. She often knew more then our own solicitor. Thank you so much for all your help and Alia you have been amazing.

Once I found the place I wanted the process of taking occupation was simple and very easy to do. Got to be the best Estate Agent I’ve used over the years. Great service, thanks Chloe.
having decided to sell my apartment i had 3 valuations carried. Sarah Mains were by far the most impressive with their pitch, very professional with good quality supporting documentation and a good clear plan of how they intend to market the property. i was kept informed throughout the entire process, if you needed to speak to the agent then getting hold of them by telephone was always easy and they were more than happy to listen to what i had to say and provide advice and feed back following viewings. following viewings my property was always left how i requested showing a certain respect for your property. The service which most impressed me was the photos and video of the property, it showed the property off with a true likeness without being air brushed or photo shopped. finally the team at sarah mains were determined to get me a good/ fair price for my property. If i ever have to buy or sell again then i wouldn't even bother looking at any other estate agent i would go straight back to sarah mains, very impressed with your work!! and thanks to wendy and Aimee who were excellent throughout.

A real asset to the team. She constantly kept me up to date with everything. Regular photo calls, Happy demeanour, listened and guided. So a big thank you to Bridget. Happy to recommend anyone to the Northwood North Shields branch.

I put a further offer in with Courtney and was advised i would here back today .looked on Rightmove to see the house to find STC .no email what so ever .Do not ever go through this awful estate agent they just want your money could not care less.as for so called Courtney change your job

From valuation back in September, Sandy was very professional and thorough in terms of talking us through the process and valuing the house. Once the house was on the market, viewings were arranged very promptly and our house was sold within 4 days of being on the market. Their support and involvement went beyond the initial marketing and selling of the house, their team played an invaluable role in chasing, and nudging buyers and solicitors along during the process. We faced some challenges with our buyer's solicitors and Next2Buy were willing to go above and beyond in terms of checking in with the buyer and keeping the ball rolling. We dealt with most of the team at various points, but we extend specific thanks to Wendy, Gabrielle and Lorna who all spent a lot of time relaying information back and forth and ultimately, it alleviated a lot of our stress and ensured that the chain did complete on time. Many thanks again!

His guidance and advice when it came to selling our property was invaluable. Noel kept us informed at every step of the way with detailed feedback. Just simply excellent communication. Also his photos of our flat were just stunning. What impressed us the most though was his integrity. He wants the best outcome for the seller and the buyer, and really does put people at the heart of everything that he does (and goes out of his way to accommodate you). If you are looking for an estate agent who is genuine, reliable and in every way brilliant, then look no further. If you want an estate agent who will capture your property at its best, get it to market quickly, and then get it sold quickly too, then he is also the estate agent for you. On top of all of that, he's genuinely a lovely person. And that makes a difference. If we could give him ten stars, we would.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
