She was an absolute superstar and, at times, felt like the only person in the process that was on our side and working to help us at all opportunities. Our total time between offer and moving was ten months, which was extremely stressful, and Gillian was so helpful and always answered queries and kept us informed, offering advice and solutions where possible. She was an absolute superstar and is a credit to Brannens.

We had a fair amount of veiwings then a sale was agreed. The staff were very helpful all the way through to the sale. I would highly reccomend them

The team are friendly and professional and we really appreciated their gentle and patient guidance throughout the whole process. We made a number of viewings on our new property which was also being marketed with Sawyers. We never felt rushed during these viewings. All in all a very positive experience during what can potentially be a very stressful time.

Having sold our property in Gosforth with Brunton Residential, And having a smooth exchange, we needed to rent for a period of 18 months while our new property came onto the market, so we thought with this in mind we would use there services again, nothing wrong with the property rented, or the overall service, we are just not happy with the non return of some of our deposit, we moved into the property on the 18th August 2022 and moved out on the 01st March 2024, they kept £250.00 for the garden not being in the same good condition as when we moved in the summer of 2022, we had a gardener cutting the lawns every two weeks in season, however had stopped and wasn't starting again until the start of the spring, we were also charged for not removing a wooden child's play house, which was was left by the current owners, which we thought was a little unfair as it was not ours to remove.

I dealt with Julie, Chris and John at various points of the sale and were always on hand to answer my questions and offer great honest advice. It seems that their only interest is finding ways to avoid refunding my deposit. Secondly, I moved house during the pandemic and was advised to isolate. I contacted Armstrong to discuss possibly sending the keys through the post or having them pick them up from the property. This request was made because they had previously stated they would inspect the property on the last day of my tenancy. However, they insisted that the keys must be dropped off in person at their office by the last day of my tenancy. They mentioned that failure to do so would result in an additional month's rent charge.- 19th Jul 2024 (8 days ago)After many months of having 2 successive, potential buyers withdraw from the buying process (1 just before exchange of contracts), I have finally completed a sale on the third attempt. During that time, the staff at Andrew Craig have almost become my adopted family. Without exception, they have been instantly reactive in addressing any un-foreseen issues, whilst also being proactive in anticipating potential issues and moving forward to expedite matters. The staff within the Gosforth branch have felt my pain with me, comforted and advised me and have provided a personal service way beyond just selling property. If you need a hand to hold throughout the conveyancing process or you simply need a high standard of professionalism, I have no hesitation in recommending Andrew Craig estate agents in Gosforth. 18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
3rd Apr 2024 (16 weeks ago)Selling my late father's house was never going to be easy, both from an emotional and property point of view, but AH have made the exercise effortless. From the first meeting I was assured they shared my values of transparency and fairness and I was thrilled by the support I received. They worked doggedly, getting dozens of viewings for the property to ensure I reached the value I needed to achieve. At every point in the process, the communication has been exemplary. As a first time seller, I feel they really understood how to balance the personal and the professional. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
