28th Aug 2024 (19 days ago)A very rough ride from start to finish. We always felt like a 4th priority compared to other listings with Harringtons, used as a ‘door opener’ for potential buyers to then try and sell their other properties sat on the market for longer. Our best interests weren’t ever considered, feedback was sparse at times. We would have a short period of prompt feedback followed by a complete ghosting. Viewings would be scheduled for a set time, then arrive up to 25 minutes early. The marketing for the property felt more like a deterrent than a selling tool. They also tried to convince us to sign on for a 4 month period - I can see why! Thank god we didn’t. Avoid.

9th Aug 2023 (1 year ago)Dean and Nicola handled our sale. The purchaser made the process drawn out and quite stressful but Dean and team were superb. In particular they were very responsive to all messages and communicated constantly - so even when the delays were stressful we had the very welcome contact and reassurance we needed. I have to say we were very a little embarrassed by the commission rate for the amount of work they did. Great value for money. Professional at all times and lovely to deal with. Big thank you. (Ps review site is odd - tapped the far right star in most cases and assume this registered 5*. It would be better if the stars turned gold so you knew for sure what you were scoring).

I couldn't help but think how dose he know this, I never gave any information nor did he ask for any. I won't be using these people for anything, honesty shows a person's true character.

Selina visited us ( twice!) to value our house, and talked through how to best market it, answering our many questions. The whole team visited to ensure they were all familiar with the house prior to it coming onto the market. We were lucky enough to sell on the first day.The after sales service was excellent. Chantelle kept us informed of what was happening in our chain. We felt very supported dealing with the survey and solicitors. Thank you so much to the whole team at Chapplins.

We bought one house and sold two with them and every single time they went above and beyond. Communicating everything at every step and chasing everyone. When difficulties arose, they suggested creative solutions to overcome those and get to the finish line. I wouldn't work with anybody else.

We chose them after friends of ours had worked with them to sell their home and after seeing the excellent quality of the images and marketing videos, we didn't want to work with anyone else. We had an offer and accepted just 6 days after going live on their website and Rightmove which was just incredible. The team really understood our requirements and we were also really grateful for their expertise in the housing market. We are so glad we chose them and we can proudly say that we are now settled in our New Home and it was thanks to the team's superb efforts that we completed a sale and a purchase in just under 3 months! 10th Sep 2024 (6 days ago)Well, where to start! We live abroad and came back to the UK to help my parents downsize to a more suitable property. We had seen a couple of agents in their local area but hadn't clicked with them, so we continued to sort their property, while looking at potential areas for them to move to. We'd seen a property in Portchester through Nesbitts and asked to view. It turned out to be the best decision! My parents fell in love with the property and the next day, Marc came out to my parents place as he already had a potential buyer in mind. Two hours later, we had an offer on the table, without even listing the property on the open market! What should have been a stressful process was actually much less so. Marc has been great to deal with, is super responsive and comes back quickly to answer any questions. And eight (ish) weeks after we first viewed the property, my parents have sold their bungalow and are now moved into their dream home. Thanks to Marc, Lara and the Nesbitts team from Sue, Aubrey and Helen and Family!
