We deal with them as a tenant and every time when we have a problem we had to call them so many times, we had a broken door for more than 2 years until we left the property they didn’t bother to fix it. We had a mice problem and we try to contact them and they said we have to deal with the management company not with them.

30th Jun 2024 (27 days ago)Disappointing Experience with Incompetent State Agency While I was able to secure a rental property relatively quickly through this agency, which I will give them credit for, the experience thereafter has been nothing short of disappointing. I have encountered an unprecedented level of unprofessionalism that I have never experienced before from a state agent. The behavior of one particular agent, Shelley, is highly concerning. Not only have I been subjected to unacceptable outbursts and shouting, which has caused significant distress, but it also appears that Shelley is in dire need of customer service training. Her priorities seem to be misplaced, as she is often preoccupied with activities such as selling properties, attending team meetings with her feet on the table, or assisting NASA with their space missions, rather than addressing client queries and concerns. Despite numerous attempts over the course of nearly 15 days, my emails and inquiries have gone unanswered, leaving me feeling neglected and disregarded. It is unfortunate that the only way to capture their attention appears to be through negative reviews and financial consequences. Furthermore, the property I was provided lacks proper maintenance, and the agency has chosen to ignore all requests for addressing these issues, which is a shameful disregard for their responsibilities. Based on this experience and the numerous negative reviews from others, it is evident that this agency falls short of providing satisfactory service and professionalism. I should have heeded the warnings from previous reviews before engaging with them. After many issues with the property, the landlord/agent never replies to emails or any complaints. We have been having issues with the boiler and have made two unsuccessful attempts to fix it. Now we need help from the agent after a deep clean from the previous tenants and bad state of the garden, and as always, they keep ignoring emails. avoids at all costs!!

I can say, we made a very good choice using their service, because they were helpful, available every time when questions rised by us, and the whole buying process was pretty fast, while they were trying to accelerate it continuously. A special thank you to Emma who helped progress the sale throughout and was also extremely supportive when the process was stressful! A great service and worth paying a traditional estate agent fee rather than going with a with cheaper competition that’s now available! Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
25th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)Avoid this agent if your planning to let out your property. Once you hand over your keys and a tenant is found. No inspections take place as agreed prior to agreeing to letting the property out. The contractors that they use scam landlords, carrying out dodgy electric and gas certificates and without fail, the contractor will fail the inspection to attempt to get more money from the landlord. I've sent contractors that I found online a few days later and they confirm my property is in good condition for gas and electric, surprise surprise... I get my certificates issued with no fuss. The contract between agent and landlord.. complete scam yet again with a never ending contract which forces fees on the landlord which is completely unfair.. don't even think this is legal but will further investigate this matter. Also to add, when we agreed a rental increase and instructed anisten homes to agree with the tenants. I was told it was accepted but later found out that the tenant agreed paying anisten homes more than agreed with anisten home not informing me of this... scammers again.. Can see that they are using many of their friends to leave positive reviews on Google but this will not fool everyone. I strongly recommend to use another agent and avoid these scammers. FOLLOW UP COMMENTS AFTER THEIR REPLY. As a responsible landlord, I allow the agents to carry out the safety checks when needed without questioning the cost which are extremely high (contractors fee plus the agents finders fee) and they seem to find issues yearly without fail so after their so called checks, I get my own contractors out to complete the checks and confirm with the contractors that there is actually no faults and they confirm this so this is a clear way that the agent and their dodgy contractors attempt to rob more money for faults that don't exist. Regarding paying the exit fee, I have already explained to the agents that it will be paid once they fully explain their handover procedure to me and complete their hand out to myself of my own property... still awaiting a clear reply to how we can make this happen... these agents are only interested in grabbing your money!

My viewing was arranged in literally the same day we managed to make an offer on the very day. She kept on communicating with us the whole time. Everything was managed and all the paperwork was carried out very quickly as well. I love the apartment I moved in, Thank you very much for all your support and effort. We are enjoying our new residence.

It's quite rare to find a company that provides satisfactory service these days, let alone an outstanding one. Well, they absolutely exceeded my expectations by a long shot! Firstly, everyone I dealt with in this business was friendly, helpful, and polite. I used them for what turned out to be a highly complex sale/purchase, and I genuinely believe that had I not used Stanton Hockett, I would never have moved. They were dedicated, kept in contact throughout, were always available to speak to, were honest throughout, and totally committed to working with all parties to ensure the whole process worked. All of these qualities were appreciated and welcomed, but for me, personally, it was the personal touch that they brought and knowing that they cared. I really cannot thank them enough for all the hard work they put in for me. Special thanks to Bradley, Tina and Gavin, but know the whole team contributed, so thank you.
