2nd Jul 2024 (10 weeks ago)Awful experience. Arranged a viewing for a flat to purchase, left work earlier and once I got there, the agent did not have the keys to the flat and kept knocking on the door for 10 mins, hoping for someone to open the door. Eventually a neighbour came out informing us, the tenant was at work. I had to leave without viewing the property. Very disorganised - I would never use them again. Never received a call nor an email with an apology. No respect for customers' time.

Whole process quick and easy- 20th Aug 2024 (23 days ago)I've had such terrible experiences with estate agents and lettings agents in the past, doing absolutely nothing for their fee, that was until I was recommended Stirling Ackroyd by a friend. I'd previously had my property on the market for two years with Leaders and just had lots of time waster viewings. I had none of this with Stirling Ackroyd who from start to finish were fantastic. Ashley-Jane was excellent along with help from Sophie and Lee, they were all super responsive (including multiple occasions when poor Ashley-Jane was speaking to me on her days off!) and bent over backwards with chasing unresponsive solicitors! Cannot recommend highly enough, if you want a customer focused, genuine estate agent who doesn't waste your time then look no further! Thanks so much

Our home was on the market for 1 day even in a slower than usual property market when we received offers. All of the team were on hand with practical, sensible and knowledgeable advice from the get go. They are really informed about not just the local area but the full sale process and were able to help resolve a number of issues in our chain when we came across difficulties. We always received quick responses and everyone was so personable to deal with. Could not recommend them enough - 10/10 service. Particular thanks to Jamie & Michelle for making a stressful time so much more manageable.

As the property was a renovation project, I asked several times to revisit the property to take measurements etc to speed up the process once complete - Bradley & Sarah couldn’t have been more accommodating with access and getting me into the property. I didn’t feel under any ‘salesman’s’ chat - just good advice, knowledge of the property and area. Thanks again for the smooth process!

18th Mar 2024 (25 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
