21st Apr 2025 (4 days ago)Having recently sold my late mother's house, I was extremely impressed by the quality of service I received from my estate agents, Acorn Group and, especially, Joe Reeves, their area sales manager. Joe was my first and main point of contact throughout the process. He provided indispensable support at every stage, even after I returned to the United States where I reside. Notably, every promise he made, he kept. I should also mention he was able to arrange for essential repairs (gas, electricity, plumbing), which were carried out to a uniformly high standard with minimal wait time on my part. On a personal level, Joe was invariably warm and approachable. It was a pleasure to communicate with him, whether in person, by email, or via WhatsUp. I am more than happy to give Joe Reeves my highest recommendation.
14th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)Just purchased a house being sold through Hamptons and really cannot reccomend them enough. Professional, communicative and went above and beyond to keep things moving. Particular shoutout to Callum, who was always tuned in and played an enormous role in driving communication and mediating any issues that arose. If we ever move again, we are definitely picking Hamptons as our agents!

He got back to our questions within the working day, was happy to meet for second, third, and fourth viewings, and kept calm and friendly during the entire purchasing process. 10/10.

From first viewing to completion, they have been friendly and warm, they've listened to my needs and questions, and they've supported me throughout the entire process. Demi's swift response to all my emails was first class and she always took the trouble to check that I had another point of contact if she was on leave over the summer. I cannot thank you enough for showing me what would be my future home early in my house search, for remembering my interest and getting back to me about it, and for your care and communications throughout the conveyancing process.

1st Mar 2025 (8 weeks ago)Overall, a positive experience. The viewings were good, i don’t think they pushed for the most money, but I didn't ask them too so not really a negative. I do think the post sale service needs a lot of work though - I am the one pushing everything along, and chasing the agent and both solicitors, and more could be done to be more pro active. But the sales process was good overall.

I had a very difficult buyer and the team kept the sale on track with their communication and professionalism. In the end the sale went through and everyone was happy. A special mention to Richard, Rena, Amir and Ross as they were key in making the move happen

Marina showed us the property and was our main point of contact throughout the process. She was absolutely lovely, always super helpful, and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. As first-time buyers, we had a lot of questions, but Marina was patient, informative, and always quick to respond. We couldn't have asked for better service and would highly recommend Stanfords to anyone looking to buy a home. Thanks again, Hesh and Bayley

29th Oct 2024 (25 weeks ago)Selling a leasehold property can be daunting, and the process comes with many hurdles, but I’m glad we chose Black and Blanc as our estate agent. For starters, the way they present your property to the market is excellent, offering a very immersive experience. Once we found a buyer, the sale of my flat presented some challenges. Rhianna and, at the time, Ellie did an absolutely fantastic job—always following up with the buyer, conveyancers, and chasing up whoever needed to be chased. I cannot express enough my gratitude. If I had to sell another property, I would definitely appoint Black and Blanc again.

Every time we manage to speak to someone on the phone, we’re promised a call back that never happens. No one responds via email, and the whole process has been painfully slow from start to finish.
