The going wasn’t always easy but he provided solutions to the challenges we encountered and I have no hesitation in recommending him.

The agency and the landlord are both very friendly and professional, making our move-in process smooth and enjoyable. Whenever we faced difficulties, we always received timely and appropriate assistance. We are very grateful to all the staff who have helped us and highly recommend this agency!

Professional & enthusiastic with a very good knowledge of the area which helped too.- 15th Jul 2024 (8 weeks ago)We found our dream house through Ruby at Stirling Ackroyd in Egham and everything was done and sorted in record time, less than two weeks from viewing the property to moving in. I very highly recommend Ruby who called me up as soon as I enquired about a property and then ran through our requirements so she could show us all the properties that could be a match and booked me in to see several. She was amazing on the day of the viewing and we ended up getting the first house we saw. Ruby was amazing in showing us another property, even driving us to it which was great in order to benchmark and made us realise how much we loved the first one and she even drove us back to Egham after. I have never dealt with a better agent than Ruby and it's been an absolute pleasure dealing with her from start to finish.

Geoff and James expertise, professionalism, knowledge, understanding, approach and the fact that they are true gentleman, has made the entire process and experience so very smooth. I have no hesitation in recommending Buckinghams and will certainly go back to Geoff for sales in the future and continue to liaise with James on the lettings side.

The eventual buyer made an acceptable offer within a short time and the progress of the sale was communicated effectively at every stage through phone conversations, visits and emails.

Josh helped advise us during negotiations, and helped us keep track of things at the house while we live abroad.

Would recommend for anyone looking in the area to go with Alpha, just a shame there is no physical location available.

2nd Jun 2024 (14 weeks ago)Awful experience – I wish I could leave less than 1 star. I was a tenant in a flat rented through this agency for 18 months. (No doubt they will respond to this, like many other low-scoring reviews, claiming they don’t recognize my name and that I haven’t rented through them – a great way to gaslight people ????????). I arranged to leave my contract early and replace my name on the tenancy. Everything seemed fine until it came to retrieving my deposit and obtaining a reference for my new home. Both tasks were nearly impossible to achieve. They made the process difficult at every stage, adding to the stress of moving. It felt like they were deliberately trying to make the experience even more troublesome. I dealt with Hannah and Teresa at Fieldhouse and was genuinely appalled by how I was spoken to and treated. They advised new tenants to deduct money from my deposit for cleaning and moving-in fees, which is not standard practice. They also did not follow TDS regulations for deposit returns when handling a change of name on a tenancy. Furthermore, they refused to provide a reference until all paperwork was completed and the Deed of Assignment was signed by all parties. This policy is baffling, as the four other agencies I’ve dealt with in the past never enforced such a rule, making it nearly impossible to secure a new place before moving out. Please avoid dealing with this agency. There are literally thousands of better options in London!

Paul and Hazel helped us through the process on both occasions, and we couldn't have been more impressed with their service. They are very knowledgeable about the market and properties in the area and provided us with excellent advice throughout. The photography was outstanding. They supported us throughout the process and simply couldn’t have made it any easier. We have moved many times and whilst Avocado are not cheapest they are by far the best agents we have ever worked with. Thank you Dan and Neil for making it as pain free as moving ever can be.

1st Apr 2024 (23 weeks ago)We have recently completed the sale of my 91-year-old uncle's bungalow through Property Owl. Over the years, I have been involved in selling a number of properties with varying experiences of agents and I have to say that Ammar's service was truly exceptional. My uncle sometimes gets a bit confused about dealing with administrative matters, and Ammar was very patient and thoughtful with him - it was his first house move in 50 years, so very stressful for him. Ammar's kindness and patience was very helpful as we live over an hour away. He also chased the sales process very effectively, liaising with the buyer, the solicitors involved and the sales lady at the retirement complex my uncle moved into; he kept us informed about the progress throughout. He even offered to take cuttings from a bush in the garden, and turned up on moving day to help where he could! Recommended unreservedly - thanks, Ammar!

Communication was exceptional; they were quick to respond to all our questions and consistently supportive of our needs for our recent house purchase.
