17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.
2nd Nov 2021 (4 years ago)I have just purchased a property through Equus Property. Celia was fantastic, she was always available when I needed a question answered, she stayed in regular contact with me from the very first viewing right through to completion. Celia went above and beyond her duties, she helped speed up the process by speaking to solicitors and chasing things up for the vendor and I. I highly recommend Equus Property and when the time comes to move on i would not hesitate in contacting them to market my property. Thank you Celia for all of your help.
23rd Jul 2025 (1 year ago)Dealing with Street Estate Agents has been one of the worst experiences I've had with a letting agency. They increased the rent on my property without giving proper notice or any form of communication beforehand. I only found out after receiving a demand for a higher payment — no explanation, no warning, nothing. Their customer service is shockingly poor. Trying to get in touch with someone who will actually help you is near impossible. Emails go unanswered, phone calls are dodged, and when you do finally get through to someone, the staff are rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. It feels like they simply don’t care about tenants at all. To top it all off, I was served an eviction notice shortly after raising concerns, again with little to no communication or explanation. It seems they have no interest in treating tenants with fairness or respect. If you value transparency, professionalism, and being treated like a human being, steer clear of Street Estate Agents. They are untrustworthy, uncommunicative, and have zero regard for their tenants.

10th Aug 2026 (12 weeks ago)We sold our home through Burnett's Estate Agents and the experience couldn't have been better.<br><br>When we were thinking about selling our home we met with several estate agents who felt pushy - so finding Burnett's was a breath of fresh air - as from the very beginning they demonstrated a genuine care for our home and the sale being a success on our terms. They took time to get to know our home and show case it in a way that confirmed they understood what we loved about our home.<br><br>Selling a house and moving can be incredibly stressful, but Burnett's made the whole process feel straight forward. We always felt taken care of and valued as clients.<br><br>We are pleased we chose Burnett's and recommend them to anyone looking to sell their home.

Ross was absolutely amazing and really gave us so much faith and hope about listing with another estate agent and how the process would be smooth. Erin and Lily-Mae were great with viewings and with contact throughout.<br>They were so friendly, patient and reassuring..<br>and Stuart was great with the offer process. Thank you so much for helping us to move, we really appreciate all the help you gave along the way.- 22nd May 2026 (23 weeks ago)We are only Under offer at the time of writing this review and so there is some distance to go, but so far Rush Witt & Wilson have shown themselves to be been a united team of keen Estate Agents in the Hastings office that we believe are doing their best to market and sell our house. They have been open and honest about the strengths and weaknesses of our property and although we are disappointed that the sellers market is so flat in late May 2026, we think we can trust their advice to set the price at what the market will achieve. Ask us again after completion.

They always give 100% when transforming and styling spaces and take time to adjust minute details to allow properties to look their best. On top of that they have great personalities and look after those working with them and their customers. I just received a lovely card thanking me for working with them this year, an unexpected touch of kindness.

From the initial contact we found GianFranco to be efficient, professional, proactive and thoroughly pleasant. He sold our property on the day of the first set of viewings and kept us informed all the way up to completion. I could not have scripted a more stress free experience myself. There should be a five star plus rating to do justice to excellence like GianFanco’s. Thank you on behalf of our family.

When this sale unfortunately fell through Adrian found another buyer very quickly and the sale has just completed. Adrian kept in touch throughout the whole process, and was available 7 days a week. He was friendly and helpful throughout and we would absolutely recommend AP Estate Agents. Thanks Adrian.

16th Jun 2026 (20 weeks ago)Five stars across the board for the team at Charles Century in Hailsham! They recently handled the sale of my property and the entire experience was outstanding. A special mention must go to Chris, whose communication skills are second to none. He kept me constantly updated and masterfully coordinated with both the solicitors and the other estate agents involved in the chain, making a stressful process feel incredibly smooth. Every single member of staff at the Hailsham office was professional, friendly, and helpful throughout. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
