I've never experienced such slow communication with any other agency. It made the whole process unnecessarily stressful and frustrating.<br><br>I would not recommend this agency.

19th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)Very disappointing and expensive experience dealing with Leaders Cambridge. Poor communication, repeated delays, and a total lack of accountability caused significant stress and unexpected costs.<br><br>Firstly, no one showed up to my initial viewing, and during the application process I felt pressured to take out insurance covering the landlord’s possessions before even seeing a tenancy agreement, let alone signing one. I also felt they were attempting to pressure me into using their 'no-deposit scheme', as it was strongly implied that my application would be viewed less favourably than others if I opted to pay a traditional deposit.<br><br>Most seriously, my move-in date changed multiple times at short notice (once was at 4:30pm on the day I was due to move in). This was because Leaders had failed to do the appropriate safety checks prior to listing the property, which resulted in an discrepancy with the EICR certificate holding everything up. Despite assurances that this would be fixed promptly, further delays and absolutely no updates followed after an entire week. During this time, I incurred unexpected hotel, moving, and transport costs because these delays left me with no where to live.<br><br>Still with no tenancy agreement to be seen 3 weeks after paying my deposit, I was eventually left with no choice but to withdraw my application and requested the return of my £173.07 holding deposit as the statutory time frame had long since passed. At the time of writing, my decision still has not even been acknowledged after yet another week and instead I have received further pushy emails proposing new move-in dates (unsurprisingly delayed even further by the landlord deciding to paint the property).<br><br>The handling of this situation fell well below expectations and, as such, I would not recommend the use of Leaders Cambridge.

During the whole process, from start to finish the sale was conducted on a respectful and understanding manner by the team, many thanks.- 6th Oct 2026 (26 days ago)Selling and buying in a property chain is never an easy process, and ours was certainly a stressful one. However, we couldn't have asked for better support than what we received from Zerda at Abbotts. Throughout all the inevitable twists, turns, and hurdles of the chain, she was a constant source of help and guidance. She kept communication open, worked tirelessly behind the scenes, and supported us every step of the way to get us across the finish line. Would strongly recommend!

This was my first time renting in the UK, and I'll admit I was a bit nervous after reading various reviews online — but Vincent Shaw proved to be clear, transparent, and professional throughout the entire process.<br><br>The team was always punctual, quick to respond to emails, and easy to reach whenever I needed something. Their online system for payments and maintenance requests made everything simple and efficient. Any small repairs needed at the property were handled promptly by good, reliable professionals.<br><br>I'd especially like to thank Alberto, Tsvetana, and Christianne, who I dealt with most closely throughout my tenancy — always courteous, helpful, and professional. The move-out process was smooth and stress-free as well.<br><br>Overall, a great experience and a team I'd happily recommend to anyone renting in Cambridge.

Had to follow up almost a week later with a phonecall to be told too many other people booked in for viewings, so would only be considered if none accepted after this time. Poor management and way to run a business!

20th Oct 2026 (12 days ago)Professional<br>I recently purchased a property through carter jonas and dealt primarily with Tony write, from the initial first conversation Tony was extremely helpful dealing with a property that wasn’t always completely straightforward but he was so professional and knowledgeable about the property and the issues regarding the purchase.<br>Tony was on hand throughout the process supporting us with solicitor questions and keeping us updated throughout, which made such a difference to us as buyers.<br>Thank you Tony you did a fantastic job.

I was impressed that the agent who valued the property did most of the viewings, meaning he was able to talk really convincingly about the property. We sold slightly under the guide price (during a difficult time in the market) but still at a higher price than what other agents had valued the flat at.

30th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)All of the staff were so helpful throughout the sale process.<br>Having never had to sell a property before, we had no idea what to do or expect.<br>From their first visit to the house, the photos, solicitors, viewings, questions from the buyers, they kept us informed regularly, answering any questions we had, explaining anything we were unsure of.<br>It was a very emotional time for me selling my parents forever home. They were so supportive & understanding throughout.

We were so impressed by Mark's knowledge and manner of conducting the viewing, that we decided to move from the estate agent we were listed with, and list with Mark as we felt confident he would do a great job. We had been on the market for 3 months with little progress until our switch to EweMove, when we sold in 3 weeks! Mark even found the house we ended up buying, meaning we could put an offer in before it had even hit the market. Mark has been great through the whole process, his communication is top tier, always responsive to messages and no question or query is a hassle. We have thoroughly appreciated his help, and would recommend him to anyone who wants a friendly, personable and efficient estate agent!
