14th Jan 2023 (3 years ago)I booked a viewing for Tuesday 10/01 at 2pm and the agent didn’t show up, I tried to call many times the office and nobody answered so after 15 minutes I left. The following day they apologised saying that who was supposed to show us the property was sick and they rearranged the viewing for today, Saturday 14/01 at 11am. Well, we are here now and yet again nobody showed up. I called the office and the guy who was supposed to show us the property today picked up and said that he wasn’t aware that there was a viewing rearrange for today and “he just saw the diary”. And then added that “to me my health is more important than your viewing”. (How rude by the way?!)Probably it is, but at least your office should have the courtesy to let us know rather than make us waiting. And if you re arrange a viewing and you don’t show up for the second time, well I wonder how your landlords can trust you to rent their properties. … without mentioning that on both days and appointments it was poring rain and my health is important as his health, thanks for letting me wait in the wet and cold weather. Ridiculous.

Excellent communications and feedback and something that is quite rare these days, they actually made their client the focus of all their work. Totally refreshing. Would definitely recommend them and will certainly use them again.

28th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)I’ve had a nightmare experience with john co since the very beginning. First, they were incredibly inefficient with the move-in process, delaying my tenancy start date by three weeks and leaving the property vacant for that entire time. What makes this even more ridiculous is that they failed to carry out mandatory safety inspections (EICR, Gas Safety, EPC) during those three weeks of vacancy. Instead, they have contacted me three times in just my first three weeks of living here, demanding access for various contractors. It feels as though they are using me as an unpaid property manager to coordinate their overdue maintenance. If you value your time, privacy, and mental peace, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Their management is a complete mess.

7th Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)Very poor and unprofessional experience. I had two separate appointments booked - Friday and today (Monday) - with a confirmed reservation and a confirmation message. No one showed up on either day and no one called to inform me they weren't coming. When I called to ask, I was simply told they "forgot". Complete lack of respect for the customer's time. I would not recommend this company.

I have found them to be trustworthy and reliable.<br><br>Update - they recently handled a very tricky tenant, got the place sorted out, offering smart advice about which jobs needed doing. Then they got solid tenants in quickly for a good rent.<br><br>I think they are a good bet for tenants as well, as their focus is always on providing decent accommodation that people want.<br><br>Strongly recommended.

5th Oct 2026 (27 days ago)We recently bought our first property through this estate agency and I honestly can’t thank Jack and the team enough for everything they did for us.<br><br>It ended up being an unusually difficult purchase and, through no fault of the agency, there were several issues and delays with the solicitors that meant the sale came very close to falling through. A huge reason we managed to get it over the line was Jack.<br><br>He was incredible throughout the entire process. He consistently kept us updated, chased solicitors on both sides, followed up on outstanding actions and did everything he could to keep things moving. We always felt like he genuinely cared about getting the purchase completed rather than simply leaving us to deal with things ourselves.<br><br>There were points where I genuinely think the purchase would have fallen through if Jack hadn’t been so proactive and persistent. Buying your first home is stressful enough, so having someone like him supporting us throughout such a difficult transaction made such a huge difference.<br><br>We’re incredibly grateful to Jack and the rest of the team for all their help and would absolutely recommend them to anyone buying or selling a property. Thank you so much for helping us finally get the keys to our first home!

I have to say that the level of service we received from start to finish was absolutely outstanding, and we could not have picked a better agency for our needs.<br><br>A very special shoutout to Waqas who, from the very first meeting, immediately understood our circumstances and requirements and was fully committed to fulfil them throughout the process. The deep level of knowledge and expertise he possesses in this field became immediately clear and we were confident in the numerous bits of advice we received during the process and are extremely thankful for it. Honestly, it felt more like dealing with an older brother than an agent. 16th Oct 2026 (16 days ago)Bells have been managing my property for the last two years. Before I went to Bells I tried another estate agent around the area. I like to think I’m a good judge of character and the previous agents just felt untrustworthy with contradictory statements and the tenants they were bringing forward were let’s just say sub par. When I spoke to the owner of Bells he was straight forward open and managed to find me really good potential tenants really quickly. He’s such a genuine guy and I’ve had no issues with him, his staff or the tenants. Couldn’t recommend Bells enough.
