Esme Webster-Brooks was our key contact and throughout the process was extremely professional, proactive, helpful, reassuring and gave some very useful advice. The service was above and beyond, including visiting the property for insurance and survey purposes when we couldn't and doing the final meter readings. Everything happened in a timely fashion (where it was in Curchods control) and we are very pleased with all the team and all that they did for us.

The team were professional, knowledgeable and incredibly supportive. Things did not go very smoothly but at all times, I was kept up to date with progress - the communication was excellent. From the outset, Mark & Charlie were on hand to support & re-assure me. Tom then took over my sale & consistently went above and beyond to keep the sale moving forward. He was always available to answer questions and I am very grateful for all his help. Thanks also to Ian who did a great job with viewings and provided feedback after each one. Jordan & Ruth also stepped in to help when necessary, so thanks also to them.
31st Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Deal with this estate agent will be nightmare you prepare to be. just bought a house in guildford. given the offer to the seller. the estate agent pushed price and arrange unrealistic exchange and completion date. this results in the seller withdraw the listing. half year later, the seller is ready to sell. the estate agent disclosure both the sellers and buyers personal information to financial brokers and insurance thirdparties for marketing. during the communication with them, it is hugely unreliable and unfriendly. no customer service and professionalism. at the completion date, the sellers cannot give keys to estate agent and the buyers waste time to wait for the keys to be given. completely rubbish. both the sellers and buyers should be avoid..

As a first-time buyer, she was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process, providing clear communication, guidance and support whenever I needed it. She made everything feel so much easier and stress-free. Katie is a real asset to the branch and I’m very grateful for all her help.

19th Oct 2026 (13 days ago)Sam Jones property manager totally mishandled my situation. On multiple occasions he purposely withheld information to keep tenants liable for ridiculous charges. Absolutely appalling service and borderline illegal practices. My experience with Sam and leaders has put a sour taste in my mouth and has left a giant problem to solve with no support from the body that was supposed to be looking after the situation. Save yourself time and effort and go with another agency.

Justin and Mark, as are Chloe and other staff handling our sale, great ambassadors for Curchods. At the outset, we had great confidence in Justin hence we appointed Curchods over 3 other agents. Mark went over and above in handling and keeping us fully informed of what ended up being a very long drawn out sales process. We have recommended Curchods to friends and neighbours and would not hesitate to use your services again.

14th Oct 2026 (18 days ago)If you are looking to sell your property I can highly recommend Martin & Wheatley who are the most professional Estate agents you could imagine<br><br>Special shout out to David Harvey who was especially courteous and polished. His knowledge and experience reassured us throughout, but more than anything, he just picked up the phone to keep contact going.<br><br>A lack of communication can highlight exactly why people can have a bad opinion on estate agents, the difference here is you are instructing passionate professionals who are genuinely interested in property and your best interests.<br><br>There wasn’t even the opportunity to worry about particulars because David would touch base to fill us in before such questions could be asked.<br><br>The whole team supported us throughout, but David brought in a good buyer and within just 5 weeks we had accepted an offer on our property.<br><br>I can’t recommend Martin & Wheatley highly enough and they absolutely schooled the bigger names on how to do their jobs.

Selling a property is a complex process involving managing and translating those conversations between the seller, the buyer and solicitors. The estate agent plays a vital part of this negotiation and people management to help things go smoothly. I would much prefer to use a bricks and mortar agent over an online model to help take the sales management off the seller's hands. Kat Mroz was my negotiator and proved to be a total expert and pleasure to work with during this process - always calm, patient, professional and adept at keeping things moving throughout any unplanned challenges, which can sometimes occur. A huge thanks to her, as well as to Charlie and all the team!
27th Jun 2026 (18 weeks ago)I had an extremely disappointing and distressing experience with Ralph James while trying to rent a property at Helena House, Royal Earlswood, ahead of starting my new job at East Surrey Hospital.<br>I viewed the property with an agent named Hugo Cina. Following the viewing, I received what appeared to be legitimate emails containing the tenancy agreement and payment instructions. During the process, I was told that iI needed to pay the 5 weeks rent as deposit at first, and then told to pay 2 weeks rent as deposit for them to send me the contract letter. When I questioned why I was being asked to pay more than the usual holding deposit- which is one week's rent, I was encouraged to make the payment quickly so that the tenancy could proceed.<br>I subsequently received bank account details that I was told belonged to the landlord and, relying on those instructions and the accompanying telephone conversations, transferred £346. I have retained copies of the emails, call records and payment confirmation.<br>The following day, when I contacted the agency, I was informed by a senior member of staff, Sam, that their email system had been compromised. Since then, despite numerous phone calls and emails to both Sam and the Head of Lettings, Katie, I have received no meaningful response or assistance regarding the money I lost.<br>I have now submitted a formal police report regarding the suspected fraud. The lack of communication and support from the agency after being informed of the incident has been extremely disappointing.<br>Whether the payment resulted from a compromise of their systems or another cause is something for the relevant authorities to investigate. However, as a prospective tenant, I acted entirely in good faith, relying on communications that appeared to come directly from the agency.<br>Based on my experience, I cannot recommend using this agency. I hope they improve their security, communication and support for customers who find themselves in situations like mine.<br><br>I would not recommend their services as they are not secure, professional and aren't helpful at all.

17th Oct 2026 (15 days ago)From our very 1st meeting with Nicole and Sally, we felt confident we had made the right choice of Estate Agent to sell our house. We got the sense that Mint sell every house as if they are selling their own, going the extra mile to promote the selling points of not only our house but also the local area. This resulted in a swift sale at a price higher than other estate agents thought possible.<br><br>Communication is a really strong point with Mint and they gave thorough feedback on viewings and the WhatsApp group helped keep us up to date with everything throughout the whole process.<br><br>We encountered some issues with the chain but nothing was too much trouble for Mint to help with and I genuinely believe if we had chosen any other Estate agent, there would have been a real risk of the chain falling apart. But thanks to their hard work, dedication and exceptional communication, we completed on our sale and purchase with Mint.<br><br>We can't thank Nicole, Sally and Sarah enough for everything they did and will recommend Mint to anyone as THE estate agent to choose whether selling or buying a property.<br><br>Thank you again!
