When you call them to give a true feedback they usually become aggressive and hostile.<br><br>Update July 2026 - I have revised my review rating to 3 stars from 1 star just because of the individual brilliancy of Cristina Gaibani. Cristina is very engaging, ethical and sensitive to tenants' concerns, which is a welcome change from the standard erratic, unfriendly, unethical and stubborn way of the rest of the Hurst Lettings team.

They really pulled out all the stops to get this property sold and above market value too. I was with another Agent earlier and they were ok but not a patch on Fine And Country, being in this instance Josh and Charlie. Impeccably professional, honest and wholly trustworthy. They handled my mother’s long-distance house sale and purchase with professionalism, kindness and remarkable efficiency, making what could have been a very stressful process feel seamless.<br><br>Their communication, patience and support were outstanding from start to finish-truly six-star service. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we always felt informed, reassured and genuinely cared for.<br><br>The final touch when she collected her keys was such a lovely idea and meant so much to our family. It was both practical and incredibly thoughtful, leaving us all deeply touched.<br><br>Every member of the team we spoke to was approachable, friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help. It is rare to receive such consistently excellent customer service.<br><br>Our family are enormously grateful to Jackie and everyone at JNP. 31st May 2026 (9 weeks ago)Winkworths were great at finding prospective buyers for our Mothers home in Beaconsfield and secured a buyer in May 2025. That was the easy bit! We then had the most extraordinary family delays over probate and finding lost documents - and Justin at Winkworths had the tricky task of trying to keep our buyer on board - for a year! Somehow, through excellent and honest communications at all times with all parties, Justin managed this, and we finally completed on the sale this month to our original buyer. Thank you very much Justin and team!

He was fantastic at communicating with everyone and the vendor offering honest and transparent advice.<br><br>They say an estate agent's real work starts after the sale is agreed to keep all parties posted, and Philip did this brilliantly. We always knew exactly where we stood despite the complexities, highly recommend.
17th Jul 2026 (17 days ago)Richard and Toni-Ann Lowther are without doubt the perfect blueprint for estate agents.<br>In a very difficult domestic market, to my eternal regret, I first tried a very large firm of estate agents who tried what turned out to be every trick in the book to tell me black was white until I finally, totally lost confidence.<br>Having failed to achieve a single viewing over a considerable time, I cancelled the agreement at which point they had the affrontery to rest on the contract and demand hundreds pounds compensation from me.<br><br>How refreshing when I then engaged the highly professional Lowthers, the very definition of personal service. They found a buyer for me.<br>Having built and owned my own engineering business for 50 years it was so refreshing to be treated in what some describe as ‘Old School’ but with the latest technology.<br><br>A perfect trust-builder with 100% result!

Whilst there are always hurdles with house buying and selling, the team, and especially Ben, were always on hand to help flatten them out!<br>Communication was excellent, and I always felt confident that they were on top of things, which gave us 100% assurance that things were always in hand.<br>I'd have no hesitation in using them again, or recommending them to anyone considering a house sale or purchase!

Henne in particular deserves a mention - she really helped when our chain was dragging by communicating up and down the line and keeping us informed every step. 16th Jul 2026 (18 days ago)Unfortunately, this has been by far the most stressful tenancy my partner and I have ever experienced, and I would strongly advise anyone considering renting through Ford & Partners, particularly the properties on Chairborough Road, to think very carefully.<br>Our concerns actually began before we even moved in. During the viewing, we were unable to view the actual flat we would eventually be renting because it had not yet been completed. We were then encouraged to proceed with the tenancy, despite the property not being ready. Our original move-in date at the end of May 2025 had to be delayed because the flat was still unfinished. When we were finally able to move in, the property had still not been properly cleaned, and we discovered a dead rat inside the flat on the first day.<br>From the beginning, the property appeared to have been renovated to a very poor standard. There were lumps of dried plaster and silicone left on the floors and doors, and it felt as though very little care had been taken when preparing the flat for tenants.<br>The biggest issue throughout our tenancy was persistent damp and mould. Although remedial works were carried out on more than one occasion, the mould repeatedly returned. It came back in August 2025 and remained present until the day we left the property, despite countless emails, inspections, contractor visits and assurances that it would be resolved. This was in the property's only bedroom, meaning we spent months living and sleeping in those conditions.<br>There were also numerous other issues throughout the tenancy, including leaking plumbing, pest problems, failing plasterwork, and security concerns.<br>The storage cupboard allocated to our flat is located in the communal hallway. Due to the poor quality of the renovation, the door did not fit the frame correctly and we were initially given a key that did not fit the lock. Because the cupboard could not be secured properly, some of our belongings were stolen while we were away and others were damaged. It was only after reporting the theft that the lock was replaced. Even then, the contractor failed to provide us with the new key, meaning we had to make another trip to the office simply to gain access to our own belongings.<br>I was also provided with incorrect information regarding the likely council tax costs before signing the tenancy, which affected our budgeting and affordability calculations.<br>Throughout the tenancy, we repeatedly informed the agents that we did not intend to continue living at the property because of the ongoing issues. Despite this, when we eventually moved out and requested an earlier surrender, we were told there were insufficient grounds and were required to continue paying rent until 29 June 2026, despite the property being empty and still requiring significant remedial works.<br>The most disappointing aspect of the experience was the lack of urgency shown in resolving problems while we were living there. Ironically, contractors were arranged to redecorate the bedroom only after we had moved out, even though the mould had been an ongoing issue for many months.<br>Overall, the experience caused us a great deal of unnecessary stress. We were patient, cooperative, allowed access for numerous inspections and contractors, and documented every issue throughout the tenancy. Sadly, it often felt as though meaningful action was only taken after problems escalated rather than when they were first reported.<br>I hope this review helps prospective tenants make an informed decision before renting through Ford & Partners

Ryan has been excellent with communication and listening to my requirements and has delivered them brilliantly. Best agent I have worked with.

I needed one small thing repaired in the whole letting period. Was still waiting weeks later. Eventually got it fixed myself in two days for less than half the quote House Shaw finally got for me.
