The team was always available, professional, and attentive to my needs, making what can often be a stressful process much easier and smoother. I especially appreciated the excellent communication and liaison with the seller, which helped everything progress efficiently. Their advice and recommendation of trusted partners, including the solicitor, was also extremely helpful and gave me confidence at every stage. I’m very happy with the service I received and would highly recommend this agency to anyone looking to buy a property.

26th Sep 2025 (8 mo. ago)You definitely get what you pay for, and the help and support I received from Matt, Nicola and the team in Thame was excellent. I chose them because of the help I had received in the previous year or so, answering emails, providing a valuation (for free) - and they did not let me down. They were the only shining light in a difficult and horrible process. Selling a house is a really stressful process; doing it because the owner has dementia and cannot live alone is infinitely more stressful and difficult. The Fisher German team did whatever they could to make it bearable. Thank you Matt, Nicola and the rest of the team

A special thank you to Kiera, who came to help me with a spare key when I accidentally locked myself out one day — she arrived in less than half an hour. Amazing service, friendly staff, and always willing to support whenever needed. Thank you again!
3rd Jun 2026 (11 days ago)I rented a flat through Hadlands which was managed. The property manager was courteous at all times and acted promptly to ensure any issues were resolved in a timely manner. The maintenance man was knowledgeable, efficient and very polite. I was notified in a timely manner about anything to do with rental/lettings details which ensured I was able to comply with requests easily and efficiently. I would highly recommend Hadlands as letting agents as they perform well above any recommended standard.

3rd Apr 2026 (10 weeks ago)We instructed Deacon White in Dunstable as we purchased the house through them a few years previously all your and was impressed with the way the transaction was handled. We mainly dealt with Eliot this time and can honestly say he went way over and above what a typical estate agent would do. The transaction had its ups and downs ( not Deacon Whites fault) and has finally gone through. Eliot was not only professional and curious he was available out of office hours to give reassurance when needed. When I got stressed and upset he was so calm. If you are unsure who to instruct or purchase give these guys a chance as it’s rare to find an estate agent who goes that extra mile. Thank you for all you have done Ray and Leigh

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Though a long and - at times complicated - process, they were extremely understanding and helpful. We will have no hesitation in instructing Harpers when we come to sell the property in the future, and seek our next home in the area.
9th Mar 2026 (14 weeks ago)I have been nothing but extremely impressed by the care, speed of responses and overall dealing with this company. Ocean was fantastic during the viewing process and Francis and the team were great from a paperwork and advice point of view. Extremely responsive to emails and queries which has made a very stressful process much more manageable. Ocean was kind enough to support a second viewing to allow for me to take measurements prior to moving in and ensure that everything was set for our move. All of my questions were answered in good time and we are really grateful to the team for helping us find our new home.

I needed one small thing repaired in the whole letting period. Was still waiting weeks later. Eventually got it fixed myself in two days for less than half the quote House Shaw finally got for me. 15th May 2026 (30 days ago)We had a property valuation carried out by Brown & Merry at the end of 2024. After deciding not to proceed, we continued receiving repeated voicemails and marketing letters. I initially contacted the branch directly to request removal from their mailing list, but was told that our details were not even on their system, despite the continued communications. It was only after leaving a negative review and sending a further email complaint that our marketing preferences were finally updated and the issue addressed. While I appreciate that the matter has now been resolved, it should not have required public escalation to achieve a basic data and communication request.
