16th Jul 2026 (18 days ago)I paid £213 to Greenfield for the holding deposit. The referencing failed. Instead of them refunding my money. They deducted £60 from my money. When I enquired The agent called Laurence said, they have deducted the cost of referencing from it.<br>I said what?? You didn't tell me from the onset. Moreover, I have not asked anyone to do referencing on my behalf, so why I'm I bearing the cost.<br>Is this extortion or what???

I have mainly spoken with Kai, who has always been very prompt to respond (when not available, the rest of the team have stepped in to make the process seamless) and is always willing to help. When viewing properties, he was informative but allowed for looking without being overbearing. Overall very happy with the service!
22nd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)I cannot say enough about V&H Homes and specifically Maria at the Ashtead Branch. While they are a smaller independent agent, they will absolutely give you the personalized service that an independent can provide. Give those big estate agents in Surrey a miss, take your business to V&H. The communication throughout the process was exemplary, the dedication to getting the sale was second to none. We had tried to sell previously with the usual suspects in Surrey and none of them could get the sale and it seemed hopeless, V&H got it done in 10 days! There were many times in our sale where things got rocky and Maria went well over and above day in and day out to ensure that everything went through. I truly believe that if we had went with another big establishment high street agent that our sale would not have happened. While Maria was absolutely amazing, we also had interactions with the other associates at Ashtead V&H Homes. When Maria was out of office our file was well looked after, the service didn’t slip at all which is very rare in a sales situation. As I said at the beginning of this review, I really can’t say enough about Maria and V&H. These days reviews are either 5* or 1* and it’s getting more and more difficult to sift through them to make a decision. This is 100% a genuine 5* review. Were there issues in the sales process, of course there were, we were selling a house. But it wasn’t about the issues, it was about how they were handled, the speed at which they were handled, and the fact that when something came up we were never left to worry, V&H were always just a phone call or e-mail away. Thank you so much Maria and V&H Homes for the personalized service and all the time and effort that you spent on our file. We absolutely owe our sale and the fact that we are snugly in our new home all to you! Very best regards, Danny

16th Jul 2026 (18 days ago)Now where do I start …. From the first house till the first interaction and throughout the process I cannot fault anyone in the team …. I didn’t feel as if I was dealing with strangers it was like telling a friend what I was looking for in my next home and they listened understood and the first property I was shown was the one for us … it just goes to show that the agents know exactly what a buyer wants and keep their needs in mind when short listing properties for you …. We have zero hiccups dealing with the agency the lovely Fran is such a great agent who is as excited as you are about the property she finalises then not to forget Lauren and Natasha who have been amazing when I couldn’t find Fran and was freaking out lolll … if you are a first time buyer I would definitely recommend them the best interest when helping you find your forever home ….

Cancelled appointments and numerous excuses throughout, it’s ironic that they sell themselves as a more bespoke and individual service when actually I felt the complete opposite. Josh was our agent and I wouldn’t recommend.

Dan quickly generated an amazing number of viewings and multiple offers, so many, in fact, that we soon stopped using multiple agents and relied entirely on him. After a few setbacks with buyers, Dan was undeterred and went right back to work with positivity and optimism. He secured a truly great offer for us and handheld the entire process brilliantly, all the way through to exchange. Dealing with Dan was an absolute pleasure; he is personable, incredibly astute, and makes what can be a stressful process feel straightforward. I would work with him again without hesitation.
