29th May 2026 (9 weeks ago)I wouldn’t personally recommend dealing with this estate agent based on my experience. The property was described as being from a “quality builder”, but that didn’t stack up when I actually viewed them. There were issues that hadn’t been mentioned beforehand, which left me feeling like the listings didn’t give an accurate picture of what you’re walking into. Viewings themselves weren’t particularly useful. The agent seemed to have very little understanding of the properties and couldn’t answer basic questions, which made the whole process feel like a bit of a waste of time. Getting hold of anyone was also a challenge. Calls weren’t returned, and when I did get through, the interaction felt more like I was being brushed off than actually helped. The tone came across as quite condescending at times, which didn’t exactly inspire confidence. Overall, it felt like dealing with a small operation without the structure, preparation, or professionalism you tend to get from more established agents. There just didn’t seem to be the systems or attention to detail you’d expect when making such an important decision. My experience was also a long way off what some of the more positive reviews suggest, which I found hard to understand given the issues I encountered. I’d suggest anyone considering using them does their own due diligence and doesn’t rely solely on what’s presented. Disappointing, and not something I’d choose to repeat.

Initially, I thought buying a home in the UK would be impossible because my previous mortgage advisor informed me that, after three years in the UK, I could only borrow up to £133,475. However, when I met Jafri, he reviewed my situation and assured me that this did not seem right. He encouraged me to pursue the matter further, and as a result, I was eventually able to secure a mortgage of up to £300,000. I was extremely happy to work with Jafri from the very beginning of the process through to completion. He was always approachable, responsive, and willing to provide guidance whenever needed. His expertise, professionalism, and dedication made a significant difference to my home-buying journey. I would highly recommend Jafri to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and trustworthy mortgage advisor.

She got our sale over the line incredibly quickly and, most importantly, without any mishaps or unnecessary stress.<br>Having previously had two house purchases fall through, I was expecting the process to be difficult, but they completely changed my experience. Communication was excellent throughout and she kept everything moving.<br>Demi’s professionalism, efficiency, and dedication made all the difference.<br>Thanks to her hard work we completed far quicker than we ever expected. If you're looking for an estate agent who genuinely gets results and takes the stress out of moving, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

22nd Jun 2026 (6 weeks ago)The whole process was seamless with Belvoir, very efficient staff, friendly and a pleasure to get to know.<br>As this was my 1st time I needed my hand holding a bit, I was never made to feel like a nuisance, all my questions were asked in a timely manner and it really helped me with my stress levels.<br>Top notch service, I cant praise them enough, I feel like I have a great team to guide me through this process and to continue with.<br>Thank you.

25th Nov 2025 (8 mo. ago)It’s really important to find an estate agent that can market, generate interest and ultimately get that sale you are wanting and Alexander’s can do this. What most people forget about is the process from accepting that offer to completion day, which can be a long time, in a long chain, with long delays from various solicitors and issues that arise. Molly Mcbride at Alexander’s is extremely tenacious, educated and has your back all the way to the finish line. She single handedly progressed our whole chain, constantly chasing up and down, jumping over every hurdle and there was a few! Had we chosen another estate agent I would still be waiting to exchange, it’s opened my eyes into how important it is to make sure you instruct the right estate agent with the right people. Thank you so much Molly!

Having met with various estate agents before selecting R&L, they were the most open, honest and informative regarding the selling process who completely put me at ease and enabled me to trust their process as a first time seller. They booked in open days which were highly beneficial to both ourselves and to the potential buyers, using a wonderful local colleague who truly sold our house and the local area to a very high standard. They helped us sell our house within a few weeks being on the market, two open days and the more offers than we were expecting, all above our initial asking price. Most importantly for us was communication with ourselves and internally so everyone was on the same page, and both solicitors were kept in the loop too. Cannot recommend them enough! Thank you team!

29th Jul 2026 (5 days ago)Unprofessional and unorganised. Visited the property for valuation were advised to not put on the market as the market was poor. Went for alternative estate agents and sold within 2 weeks. Enquired to view a property advertised on Rightmove after 3 days called me in an unprofessional manner to inform me the vendor isn’t sure about moving. Property was removed off Rightmove. 3 days later received an email about the same property to arrange a viewing. But it was off the market?!?

During what I can only describe as the most difficult of house selling journeys. From start to finish they have been friendly, approachable, personable, contactable, reactive… the list could go on!
