I liked their system notifying me of the viewings so I was able to track what was happening. Good communications throughout. Referencing of tenants completed quickly. Hope that ongoing property management reflects this initial experience.

14th Jan 2023 (3 years ago)I booked a viewing for Tuesday 10/01 at 2pm and the agent didn’t show up, I tried to call many times the office and nobody answered so after 15 minutes I left. The following day they apologised saying that who was supposed to show us the property was sick and they rearranged the viewing for today, Saturday 14/01 at 11am. Well, we are here now and yet again nobody showed up. I called the office and the guy who was supposed to show us the property today picked up and said that he wasn’t aware that there was a viewing rearrange for today and “he just saw the diary”. And then added that “to me my health is more important than your viewing”. (How rude by the way?!)Probably it is, but at least your office should have the courtesy to let us know rather than make us waiting. And if you re arrange a viewing and you don’t show up for the second time, well I wonder how your landlords can trust you to rent their properties. … without mentioning that on both days and appointments it was poring rain and my health is important as his health, thanks for letting me wait in the wet and cold weather. Ridiculous.

9th Jul 2026 (17 weeks ago)This is a factual account of our stay at 298 Gray’s Inn Road (Flat B), managed by Carter Reeves, on 08/07/2026.<br><br>During our stay, we discovered an active, deep-seated bed bug infestation across all three bedrooms. We have concrete video and photographic evidence of multiple live adult bed bugs on the bedding and live nymphs crawling on the walls. The presence of multiple life stages across every single bedroom indicates a severe, long-term infestation that could only occur through a complete failure of basic preventative maintenance.<br><br>The property advertises that guests have access to 24/7 contact support during their stay. However, when we discovered the infestation and called the emergency number at 2:00 AM, we were texted back and told to text our issue instead. The moment we replied and informed them of the live bed bug infestation, they completely ignored all further communication.<br><br>Because management abandoned their advertised 24/7 support obligations, I was forced to evacuate the apartment with my children at 2:00 AM, leaving us stranded in central London in the middle of the night with nowhere to go.<br><br>Since our stay, we have been made aware of at least three specific, previous complaints regarding bed bugs at this exact property that were raised directly with management. Every single one of these prior warnings was completely ignored, showing a calculated pattern of negligence. Carter Reeves has willfully disregarded documented guest complaints, choosing to continue renting out a biologically hazardous property to unsuspecting families.<br><br>A review of historical feedback reveals that multiple previous guests have explicitly warned this management team about bed bug issues at this address. Carter Reeves has willfully ignored these public complaints, choosing to continue renting out a biologically hazardous property.<br>This matter has been officially escalated to Camden Council’s Environmental Health department with our full evidence pack for formal statutory investigation and enforcement action. Booking.com has also been notified of the severe safety breach. Avoid this property at all costs.
17th Oct 2026 (16 days ago)I tried to view an apartment twice, and both times were a complete waste of my time:<br>First visit: The agent showed up, but the keys didn't work.<br>Second visit: They mistakenly booked me for two different time slots on the same day. I emailed them clearly to confirm one and cancel the other. When I arrived at the location, nobody showed up. I called, and they claimed the other slot was the active one in their system (which was 1.5 hours later).<br>The final attempt: I agreed to wait and came back for the other slot, arriving just 7 minutes late. I called them while I’m front of the building, they told me the agent was already inside and coming down—yet no one ever showed up.<br>To top it all off, I sent an official email detailing all of this, and I haven't even received a reply. Utterly unprofessional management and zero respect for clients' time.

He was always responsive, proactive and incredibly helpful, and made what could have been a stressful transaction feel much smoother. He kept things moving, communicated clearly, and was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. As a first-time buyer, that made a huge difference. I’d happily recommend Louis and Elderton & Co to anyone buying or selling in the area!

They have always found good quality tenants and are always there to answer any tricky questions. I love that we have been dealing with the same contacts for over a decade too. They really know their stuff. Most recently they found a buyer for the property and we received over the asking price. All beautifully managed by Jane.

Their team have always been friendly and helpful whenever we've had queries with the flat, and always been on hand when repairs have been needed. Their communation is promt and clear, welcoming and approachable, and the two property managers we have been liaising with recognise us whenever we've needed to stop by for some admin or to drop papers off. A really personable service, and a lovely and refreshing change compared to previous agencies!

You hear so many scare stories about renting in London, so it was nice to have such such a stress-free rental experience. Repairs were made promptly and everyone was always very accessible and helpful.

Gary is a very thorough and professional agent. His attention to detail and calm demeanour are backed up by extensive experience and knowledge of the business, which makes him very reassuring to deal with.<br><br>I would recommend Camden Bus unreservedly to anyone, and I would very happily buy or sell through them again in the future.
