12th Oct 2026 (21 days ago)Definitely the best letting agency we have ever had!<br>We spent 3 wonderful years in our flat and would like to say a huge thank you to Kate, Jordan and the entire Cedar team.<br><br>Throughout our tenancy, whenever we needed any repairs or maintenance, Kate always responded quickly and arranged everything without any hassle.<br><br>During our second year, we had an issue with the dishwasher. They arranged a visit straight away and, as the dishwasher was quite old, quickly decided to replace it with a brand-new one. They also offered us a much better sofa they had available when the original one was getting quite old, which we really appreciated and enjoyed!<br>The whole team was always helpful, responsive and happy to assist with anything we needed.<br>We always felt very well looked after as tenants.<br><br>Towards the end of our tenancy, they also went out of their way to help find a new tenant quickly so that we could move out earlier than planned. They didn’t have to do this, so we really appreciated their help and flexibility.<br><br>If we ever move back to the West Hampstead/Kilburn area, Cedar will definitely be the first agency we contact. We would happily recommend them to anyone looking to rent in the area.<br><br>Thank you so much, Kate, Jordan and the whole Cedar team, for looking after us so well over the past 3 years! ??
8th Aug 2026 (12 weeks ago)Heathgate are the management agents of our block.<br>Shabz is the manager for the block and I do genuinely feel he cares for the residents.<br>No management agent is perfect but after having 3 in as many years I can say that Heathgate are responsive, approachable (very rare for managing agents) and sensible. Shabz sorted an issue for our home that had been ongoing for over a year and caused us a great deal of stress and I am very grateful for this.

I have received so much support and advice from Jatin in handling my property sale. Given I don’t live in London it has been a weight off my shoulders knowing I had a reliable and trustworthy agent handling things for me. I can’t recommend Martyn Gerrard in Finchley enough. 10th Jun 2026 (21 weeks ago)Our experience with HomeLink has been extremely negative.<br><br>We returned the keys on 14 May 2026 and recorded a video at the time of handover as evidence. Despite this, we were later told that the keys had only been returned on 2 June 2026. We have evidence showing otherwise.<br><br>When we rented the property, we were informed by Zach that there were no damp or mould issues. However, during our tenancy we experienced significant damp, mould and moisture problems throughout the property, particularly during the winter months. My wife and child developed asthma-related health problems, and we have supporting medical evidence.<br><br>We moved out on 30 April 2026 and were preparing to move into another property. During this process, HomeLink provided a negative reference, stating that rent payments had been late. We had already informed them in writing that my salary payment date had changed and requested that the payment date be adjusted accordingly. Despite this, the issue was not resolved.<br><br>HomeLink has withheld our £2,015 deposit and has attempted to charge rent for a period when we were no longer living in the property. We have written communications showing that we informed the agency in advance about leaving the property.<br><br>We feel that we were treated unfairly throughout this process. We have retained emails, messages, video recordings and other evidence and have started legal proceedings regarding these matters.<br><br>Potential tenants should carefully document all communications and thoroughly inspect any property for damp and mould issues before signing a tenancy agreement.

The team were brilliant throughout the whole process — responsive, professional, and always quick to chase up the little details that come up during a sale, even outside normal hours. They kept things moving smoothly right through to completion and made what can be a stressful process feel genuinely manageable. Would highly recommend the team to anyone selling in the area.

4th Aug 2026 (13 weeks ago)I would highly recommend David Astbury's from the first point of contact during the valuation, the professionalism commenced. We were provided with information about our property in advance of marketing that other estate agents did not provide and they did not overvalue our property to raise unrealistic expectations. Our sale in the end was very complex, but March in particular who supported us up to final sale completion, was amazing and did her best to support us during some very challenging times. Other members of the team were also supportive, as and when needed.

We recently sold our property in Golders Green through them and were really pleased with the service we received from start to finish.<br><br>Richard was incredibly helpful throughout the process and, when we ran into an unexpected complication during the sale, he was always on hand to offer advice, get involved where needed and used his knowledge and local connections to help move things along. His experience of the local market really showed and it was reassuring to have him involved throughout the sale.<br><br>We wouldn’t hesitate to use Houseman & Holmes again and would happily recommend Richard and the team to friends and family. Of course, the market was a factor, but the advice increasingly seemed to be simply to reduce the price. We eventually decided it was time for a change.<br><br>From our first conversations, Goldschmidt felt completely different. There was no hard sell, just honest, considered advice and a level of knowledge and professionalism that genuinely stood out. I’ll admit I was slightly sceptical at first, but the difference quickly became apparent: their understanding of the local area and market, the way they approach viewings and prospective buyers, their sales strategy and, importantly, their communication throughout the process were all on another level.<br><br>They ultimately looked after both our sale and our onward purchase, and I really couldn’t fault the experience. Richard leads a fantastic team and everyone has been exceptional; Anthony, Daniel and Raphael all looked after us impeccably from start to finish.<br><br>Having dealt with a number of estate agents over the years, I can honestly say Goldschmidt stands out. If I'm honest, I was not expecting the quality of service I got, because the flat I was selling is a relatively low-value property; I figured the team would save their energy for homes nearer the top end of the market, but they absolutely did not. Initially I got a realistic idea of likely selling price from Charlie, who was both helpful and knowledgeable (he clearly knew my market segment). Senan did the first viewing ... and then I started to worry if I'd made the right decision about my agent because then Richard brought someone round, and then Pierce - where was the consistency, and how would this impact my customer service? Turns out I was completely wrong in my assumptions: all three members of the sales team gave me nothing but excellent support, and they also kept in touch with each other about what progress was being made so service was seamless whoever I spoke to. Once I had an offer, they were brilliant liaising with the buyer; and - critically - they gave me timely and well-placed advice to ensure that I could move things along as quickly as possible at my end when other organisations were causing delays. Not only did I get first-class service but the whole team are as friendly a bunch as you could wish for. I recommend them wholeheartedly (I never thought I would ever say that about an estate agent!) and would choose them again every time.
