Anything i needed or any questions were answered and i was supported so well through the whole process. Evie has been absolutely amazing, always answered anything i needed and kept me updated so well and checked in with me often, she was so kind and helpful she truly made a difference and shaped the experience to be so positive for me. She truly is a star!

Their combination of residential sales, valuations and property auctions gives them a depth of expertise beyond a typical estate agency. I particularly appreciate the balance between traditional professional standards and modern property marketing. Their strong knowledge of Southsea and Portsmouth, together with the personal approach of an independent firm, makes Nesbits a very reassuring choice for property matters.

3rd Feb 2021 (5 years ago)When looking to secure a tenancy we were not kept up to date or informed if our offers had been accepted or unsuccessful, after emails and calls not returned we went elsewhere and secured a property with all checks completed in 48 hours. Do not recommend

Their long-standing presence in North End gives a reassuring impression of local property knowledge, and I appreciated the straightforward approach to sales and lettings. The team came across as professional, approachable and helpful throughout the process. I also like that they offer both tenant-find and fully managed services, which makes them a useful option for landlords. A reliable local estate agency with a good understanding of the Portsmouth property market.
19th Sep 2026 (8 days ago)Having just bought a property with the help of the staff at Byrne and Co I can only rate this operation with full 5 stars.<br>From the moment I arranged my first viewing to the day of completion there has always been someone, either John or Helen or any of the other staff there, to assist or chase things along.<br>I would not hesitate to use Byrne and Co again, they seemed to have a very traditional attitude towards customer service that in my experience is so much more effective that the "corporate" agents that I have dealt with in recent years.- 18th Aug 2026 (6 weeks ago)We were with Pearson's in Fareham for 4 years renting. Lizzie and Della were absolutely great. Nothing was to much trouble and they were always helpful with a smile. They became more like friends. We are sorry to have had to leave them. 12th Aug 2026 (7 weeks ago)We bought a property through Fry and Kent, Drayton. I would like to say what a pleasant experience it was. We were shown round the property by Amanda who was very helpful and was always at the end of the phone to help us with any questions, as we placed an offer which was accepted. We were very impressed with Amanda's professionalism, she always returned our call and happily communicated with both ourselves and the vendor. As did any other member of the team.<br>Considering we did not sell our property through them we found them much more helpful and professional than our own agents, always keeping us informed right up to the point of exchange when our own agent did not even contact us to let us know this was happening! I really ended up depending on Amanda to keep us up to date.<br>Needless to say I would thoroughly recommend Fry and Kent and would like to say a huge thank you!- 18th Sep 2026 (9 days ago)Very happy with the service given. 8th Sep 2026 (19 days ago)We dealt with both owners of the company, both very professional and knowledgeable, they have considerable experience in selling houses in thei area and made us feel confident that if anyone would sell our house it was them. They make sure potential buyers have the finances to buy the house before any agreements are made and i feel that overall they gave us more assurance than some other companies do. My son bought his house through them and it was the way they ensured that the buyers did not mess about the sellers than clinched it with using them.

Always available, always charming, always diligent in following up the slightest lead. He has already achieved a sale with one and I am sure will soon do so with the second.Very happy to have been introduced to him.
23rd Feb 2026 (7 mo. ago)AJM were the agents for the seller of the house we recently bought, the experience was chalk and cheese from most of the other agents I encountered. Accessible, knowledgeable about the area and focused on getting the sale done, ably abbetted by a solicitor working closely with him and my own solicitor. Thinking about moving into the the area? I can commend this team wholeheartedly.

Poor at showing people around- I have cameras and heard a few remarks from the agent that were inaccurate and likely to put people off. Poor during initial conversation- making promises that were immediately broken about a house we loved that they were marketing. Also failed to carry out basic information gathering that we have later discovered is a legal requirement.
