9th Mar 2026 (18 days ago)Would give 0 stars. Easily the worst letting agents in Reading. They’ll never fix the problems and the basic requirements from you. Whatever you report goes into deaf ears. We’ve been reporting about faulty blinds , leaking bathroom and lots of sharp nails from beneath the carpets for more than 6 months with no one turning up even once. Stay away even if the property looks cool.

Tonisha has been incredibly helpful throughout the entire process — from the initial viewing through to getting us settled in and arranging a few small jobs that needed completing. Her communication has been excellent, keeping everything running smoothly and efficiently. We really appreciate the support and would highly recommend their service.

They were easy to contact and we were at all times kept informed of progress in the sale. Patience was well rewarded with an excellent result achieved.

They were professional, responsive, and handled the entire process—including managing viewings around my tenant—with total care. A huge shout-out to Imani, who was brilliant with the sale and viewings, and to Chanelle, who was a total superstar with the chasing and paperwork. Together, they pushed everything through to reach exchange within just two months. It’s rare to find a team this proactive. Highly recommended!
21st Mar 2026 (6 days ago)Our chain sale process was complicated with months of waiting for the legal work to finish and vast documentations, but Ross, Akansha & their team were throughout the process of this long 5 months by constantly supporting and updating us with the development. Though it was a very hectic process but because of them our transition was extremely smooth as Akansha kept us updated throughout the process and on the day of exchange of the contract, Ross was constantly updating us with the latest information so, we were well informed throughout the process. 100% going to recommend them to my friends and family. Very professional team and extremely helpful.

10th Mar 2026 (17 days ago)Needing to find a place at short notice, Nathan, Mark and Steve were excellent at helping me get a somewhere which suited me. I should have used Romans, Tilehurst, much sooner, as they got everything done, ASAP. They have a range of places to rent that suit any price bracket. Lorriane, the Move in Manager, was professional and collecting my keys was done as arranged. In the future, I will use Romans, Tilehurst. Romans, Tilehurst are the best Estate Agent that I've dealt with and I will use them in the future. I know what I'm getting with Romans and I trust them with the landlords that they represent.
22nd Dec 2025 (14 weeks ago)We recently bought our house from Farmer and Dyer and they were excellent in particular Simon. We had some uncertainty through the chain and he consistently went above and beyond to help even though this wasn’t his property but others in the chain. He always was responsive, proactive and made time to help and I think the main reason that everything worked out was because of him. Couldn’t recommend him and Farmer and Dyer enough!
10th May 2024 (1 year ago)I had a viewing scheduled at 3:30, but the agent was over 11 minutes late without any prior communication. When contacted, the agent attempted to deceive me about their arrival time. I understand that delays can occur however it's unacceptable to be dishonest about it. This lack of professionalism and honesty reflects poorly on the agency's service. Based on my experience, I would not recommend dealing with them.

27th Feb 2026 (28 days ago)Avocado have been a pleasure to deal with throughout. Their marketing was superb and customer service has been exceptional throughout. I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!
