19th Jun 2026 (5 days ago)After an awful experience with an on line company , I looked around for an Estate Agent one could actually see face to face and found Connells to be welcoming , friendly and after asking them to act for us, very professional.<br>Polly came to value, Sarah always promptly answered any queries and Gary took over from there, supported by the girls.<br>Have to mention Doug in lettings whom I met initially as he was the deciding factor in choosing Connells.<br>Thank you all, so happy to be finally settled.
2nd Jun 2026 (22 days ago)We appointed William H Brown to manage the sale of my 95 year old mothers house as she was moving across the country to be nearer ourselves. I can only say that the service provided by the team from start to finish was absolutely excellent and first class. Becca Bradshaw went beyond the call of duty to help with all the completion of forms etc which my mother in law found hard. Her care and attention was much appreciated by us all. Courtney Lister acted as a fantastic team member, updating me on a weekly basis on progress, always contactable and liaising with the solicitors on a regular basis which was key to the progress of the sale and purchase. Even after the sale was completed when an important teapot was found to be have been left behind Courtney personally packaged it up and sent on to us which meant so much to my mother in law and we are so grateful to her for doing that, it is far more than could have been expected. I cannot recommend the team more!

After only 2 weeks on the market we secured a chain with four buyers but had a challenge with the start of the chain. This has taken several months and continual chasing by Paul Wallace to secure a success for all. We have finally moved and grateful thanks to all and highly recommend all at Paul Wallace, Hoddesdon.

19th Jun 2026 (5 days ago)talk the talk to get you in, but if you're a low value property they don't put much effort in. i got 0 feedback from the viewings i had. one time an agent didn't turn up and the viewer went home and didn't re book. poor communication in responding to emails. i felt like my property was low on their list of priorities. no chase up when the contract was coming to an end to see if i wanted to extend. when i said i was listing with another agent they didn't ask for feedback or try to keep my business.

David and his team were exceptional from start to finish and would like to say a big thank you for not only selling our property but also finding us the house we needed to hopefully get our eldest into Simon Balle Secondary School! 15th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Fantastic service from Duncan and Jo. Of the three agents quoting they suggested the highest price and pretty much achieved it. One of the other agents (VM) suggested nearly £80k less than the price we received!! Duncan Perry’s knowledge of the local market is second to none. I would strongly recommend using them.

What was an extremely stressful situation was made significantly easier by our experience with Kings Group, and in particular Rosy O’Brien. Rosy was professional, efficient, and consistently supportive throughout the process. Beyond that, she brought a genuinely human approach to what could easily have been an impersonal transaction, taking the time to understand our situation and act with care and consideration. We are very grateful for her help during a difficult time.
21st Oct 2024 (1 year ago)Anthony Lettings has been managing one of our rental properties in Hertford since 2016 when they took over from BlueTopp Lettings. The service has always ben excellent and the tenants have also been very good (no issues so far). Highly recommend as a landlord

From the outset Andrew took a genuine interest in my property and plans, and the photographs and brochure he organised were excellent. Andrew kept me informed at all stages and the dedicated WhatsApp group proved a very efficient method of communicating. A very friendly and efficient firm and I would highly recommend them.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

18th Jun 2026 (6 days ago)There was no interaction. I had barely any feedback on the few viewings. I was having to constantly call them for information. I was told to pay for the money laundering check up front. It took ages for them to put up a for sale sign.
