The whole team were excellent, I particularly liked that the staff came round to see the house so they knew what the layout was before viewings took place. They secured a very quick sale. Sarah was very professional from the very first meeting, advising on the correct marketing strategy, price and securing the sale. Lucy was our point of contact for any queries or questions we had and gave weekly updates so we knew exactly what was happening during the process. Nothing was too much trouble and I wouldn’t hesitate using them again

Having dealt with several other estate agents during my search, including one purchase with another agent that progressed quite far before falling through with little support provided from that particular agent, I can honestly say the service at Hunters stood out. Vicky, Marissa and team were consistently friendly, responsive, and proactive throughout the process. They were quick to address any questions or concerns, providing clear updates and helping everything move along smoothly and efficiently. Their support made the stress of house buying feel much more manageable. I would definitely recommend them — thank you again!

Branch manager Adam was a pleasure to deal with from the first time we met, through to the completion day and handing the keys over. He was ably supported by his colleague Jodie, who also was very attentive, responsive, and was pivotal in getting what turned out to be a more complex sale over the line. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bridgfords in Ashton Under Lyne for your property transaction, whether buying or selling.
28th Jul 2026 (7 days ago)I’ve been a tenant with Cousins for nearly five years, and I honestly have nothing but lovely feedback to give them. They’ve always been kind, understanding, and fair - not just to the landlord, who’s technically their primary client, but to us as tenants too.<br><br>Right from the start, the inventory process was handled fairly and thoroughly. And when it finally came time for us to move on, Cousins kept supporting us every step of the way, even though we were leaving. Whenever we called in a panic needing old documentation, they’d send it over instantly. When it came to showing the house to prospective tenants, they always worked around our schedule to make things as convenient as possible for us.<br><br>In nearly five years, there was never a single moment of friction. A special shout-out to our property manager, Kristina - you’re an absolute star, and I really hope our paths cross again!

My initial valuation with John was professional and informative, the team in the office were always friendly and incredibly helpful, and Michelle was fantastic during the final stages before completion, answering any queries promptly and making everything run smoothly.<br>They really made what can be a challenging and stressful process feel much easier. Having used different estate agents in the past, I can honestly recommend Kirkham with complete confidence and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.<br><br>Thank you to the whole team for such a great experience!

22nd May 2026 (11 weeks ago)I would give this property management company zero stars if I could. Dealing with them has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. They ignored mine and my husbands emails for weeks, they never answered the phone, and somehow made every simple issue feel impossible to resolve. They took our deposit and then told us the landlord no longer wanted to give us the tenancy for no good reason. We had to wait 12 weeks for our deposit to be refunded. As soon as our tenancy contract was signed, their true colours showed. They were both rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested with our concerns. It honestly felt like once they had your money, they wanted nothing to do with you. Communication was awful, professionalism was nonexistent, and accountability was nowhere to be found. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company unless you enjoy stress, disappointment, and wasting your time.

Michael was very approachable, and the marketing was fantastic, particularly the highly effective video tour.<br>I cannot thank Ginene, Nina and Amber in the Glossop office enough. They were always so friendly, helpful and proactive, responding very quickly to any questions and offering excellent advice. They kept me fully updated about viewings, feedback and the progress of the sale, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble.<br>I am extremely grateful for all their help and would have no hesitation in recommending Country Holmes.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Paul made everything feel straightforward from the very beginning, and his professionalism and communication continued throughout both our sale and purchase.<br>Paul kept us informed every step of the way, always available to answer our questions, and worked hard to keep everything progressing as smoothly as possible.<br>We always felt supported and knew we were in safe hands. 17th Jul 2026 (18 days ago)Please stay clear of this company. They are highly unprofessional and have no desire to stand by their own terms and work in a smooth and timely manner. They do not stay updated on any progress when working through a purchase of a property and do not act as if they want to get to completion within their own 60-day terms. I had two occasions on the same property when a mortgage valuation was booked in, and the Jack Senior at Let Property assured me the first would be completed. Once no one turned up at the property to allow access for the valuation, it had to be rebooked, and when I spoke to Jack again he assured me 100% someone would be there. But again, when the valuer arrived at the property no one was there to allow access. Also during the process it would take days, sometimes a week, to get a simple bit of info or just a return call from Jack or anyone at Let Property. They set 60-day completion terms, which I was happy to work to and moved fast on my side, but when they constantly delayed things, it got to the point nothing was moving foward. On top of this, they take a reservation deposit and will not refund it has we are past the 60-day terms even with the delays being their own fault. I would highly recommend staying clear and using any other company. I have found Pure Investor to be very professional, helpful and hardworking to make sure both the seller and buyer are happy and continue to get things moving forward.
25th Jul 2026 (10 days ago)Overpriced my house, then reduced it by £25k then 2 weeks later wanted to reduced it a further £20k. Making my house seem unsellable. Communication was terrible. I had to chase for feedback. I made a big mistake using them. What they promise around your dining table is not what you get. I am using a different agent.
