Aspire, Wandsworth bridge road, were phenomenal throughout the entire process.
Always there ready to help, give information and assist with all aspects of the sale. Very accommodating to ones personal circumstances. As well as having a good sense of fairness and honesty.
They were able to problem solve time sensitive situations eg turning around a structural survey within 24hrs, when one was needed just prior to exchange.
Even re did photos when I finally followed their advice to sort the furnishings opening up the place more. Again with a very prompt turn around. Even the photographer was incredibly help to get the best out of my home.
I can't recommend them enough and if you are in that area, definitely give them a go.
Extremely unprofessional agency. Multiple issues in a property managed by them which took over 2 years to resolve.
Further, don’t expect the return of your thousands of pounds of deposit to be returned in good time. It is not of importance to them and you will be chasing very regularly. 2 months and counting.
AVOID - if you like a property, see if other agencies are listing the same one and go with them.
Robert Sanderson with the help of Rosalind Bainbridge, Phillippa Dalby-Welsh & Emma Stead achieved an outstanding result for me with the sale of a Fulham home. I bought the property through another agency as a development and the Fulham team were fantastic in advising me, not only whilst I was developing the house but then also once it was complete. I finished the project in a much more uncertain time than when I purchased it in. They were firm in telling me that I needed to dress the house to get the best result which I was hesitant to do given the additional cost, they were even able to put me in touch with their own interior services team. I successfully agreed a sale at the over the guide price within a few weeks, having been negotiating with more than one buyer. Robert in particular, who was dealing with the buyer acted with extreme professionalism and with a high degree of skill. Once a sale was agreed it proceeded to exchange of contracts in a little over 10 days. I cannot recommend the Savills Fulham team enough, they exceeded my expectations on every level and the individuals I dealt with are a credit to the Savills brand. Their knowledge and advise was invaluable, I followed them every step of the way and I am extremely pleased that I did.
Working with Victoria Ball from Savills on our first home purchase was an absolute pleasure. She was by far the most responsible and diligent person involved in the home buying process, and instilled a lot of confidence that things would move smoothly. She was incredibly responsive, always quick to return calls, and was my go-to person anytime we seemed to hit a snag. I highly recommend working with Victoria, and intend to do so myself on any future transactions.
I was working with Ben Goddard throughout my search for a new property to rent in Fulham. Ben had an informative and non pushy approach to the whole process and really listened to what was important to me. His advice and guidance led to me getting a great deal for a perfect property within my budget and certainly to my taste! Great job Ben!
Winkworth Fulham branch is not just a standard awful estate agents- it's THE worst I have ever come across- and I've come across bad estate agents.
This was my service experience:
- I found a flat on gumtree that I really liked, unfortunately winkworth were managing it.
-They didn't reply to my question about a viewing
- I then kept getting emails from them about 2 bed properties, which I wasn't looking at, in areas I didn't want.
-I then called them about the property and they said they couldn't do viewings past 5.45pm- not very realistic for full time working people
-Eventually managed to view it at the weekend but the person showing us didn't tell us anything useful or have any knowledge of the property
-We liked the flat so much that despite all the crap service we still put an offer on.
-They mentioned we wouldn't hear until Monday as it's the weekend.
- I then chased every day and they said they were waiting for a response and have put it forward.
-I hear nothing by Tuesday, so I ask someone else in their office and they said the offer wasn't even put forward to the landlord
-I call winkworth up to ask what happened and they said 'yes sorry they're looking for a couple not sharers'.
So why didn't you tell me that to begin with? Why are you ALL SO BAD AT YOUR JOBS??
I'm looking for a flat and you're not doing anything to help? I have a good job, a line of good past landlord references- Yet you've done nothing to help me? and actually just lied to me about putting an offer forward...
Remarkably efficient, professional and friendly service from Kitty Taylor, Meena Patel and Marianna Protopapas at Strutt & Parker Fulham. Our flat was let within two weeks of initial appointment and follow-up has been excellent. I highly recommend.
Here is what happened when my wife and I rented a two bedroom flat in Fulham with Strutt & Parker last May.
The moment we walked into the property we realised that it was not professionally cleaned as we had been told and we also found several things left by the previous tenants which we had to carry out ourselves. We examined the property from top to bottom and by the time we got to the kitchen we discovered that under the kitchen units there were hundreds of mice droppings, sign of a clear ongoing mice infestation.
We left the property in shock and my wife, who was in her 32nd week of pregnancy was so distressed that she eventually had to see a doctor. I explained the situation to Strutt & Parker but they underestimated the gravity of the situation and told me to contact the landlady myself.
The landlady scheduled a pest control inspection, I met the expert at the property who confirmed the gravity of the infestation and told me that they would try to fix the problem but they could not guarantee that it would not happen again since the property was surrounded by restaurants.
I gave Strutt & Parker a copy of the inspection report and I told them that the property was a serious health threat to my wife's pregnancy and the newborn and that we would ask to terminate the tenancy. I also informed the landlady who accepted to terminate the tenancy but did not apoligise to us and did not want to discuss the matter any further. The termination was conditional to the full deposit being returned to us and one full month rent being paid to the landlady.
We were glad it was over at last, even though my wife and I were the only ones who got damaged, both financially and emotionally.
I would not recommend them, they are completely unethical and insensitive.
