Recently, my wife purchased a unique designer handbag online, only to discover that her account still had our old address stored. As a result, the package was delivered to our former property.<br><br>I contacted Peter Barry in the hope that someone might be able to assist, and thankfully Dhiya immediately understood the situation. She was incredibly helpful, taking the time to contact the current tenants and facilitate arrangements for me to collect the handbag safely and conveniently.<br><br>This was a particularly important purchase, as it was a rare, one-of-a-kind item that would have been extremely difficult, if not impossible, to replace. A lengthy and complicated chain, coupled with a declining property market during the sales process, presented numerous challenges that required patience, determination and exceptional management.<br><br>Throughout it all, Rory was outstanding. His professionalism, perseverance, communication and ability to keep everything moving forward, even when circumstances became particularly challenging, were genuinely impressive.<br><br>Living in California throughout the entire process meant that I was relying heavily on Rory to manage matters on the ground in the UK. He consistently went above and beyond, keeping me informed, offering sound advice and dealing with the inevitable complications calmly and effectively.<br><br>Selling a family property is never purely a financial transaction, and Rory understood the personal significance of the sale as well as the practical challenges involved.<br><br>Ultimately, it was Rory's commitment, persistence and attention to detail that helped bring this difficult transaction to a successful conclusion.<br><br>My sincere thanks to Rory and everyone at Statons for their exceptional service. The team are lovely; very professional, extremely trustworthy, engaging and have offered me great value for money. Over the years I’ve used many estate agents and find often you get a lot of promise and very little outcome; I found Taylor Gibbs to be different and is why I have stuck with them and why I highly recommend Miles and the rest of the Taylor Gibbs team to anyone looking for an estate agent in the area.

Additionally they are not respecting my contract terms and trying to overcharge me for the end of the tenancy. I have had to hire lawyers to avoid them abusing other more vulnerable tenants

5th Oct 2026 (29 days ago)I have just exchanged on the sale of my house in St Margarets and couldn’t be happier with the service I received from John D Wood.<br>They introduced me to the ideal off-market buyer, meaning I was able to avoid the stress of a full marketing campaign. That said, I was also very impressed by their proposed marketing, brochures and overall approach, which I felt were superior to those offered by other agents I spoke to.<br>Daniel and Jane were both instrumental in getting the exchange over the line within a tight timeframe and were excellent throughout the process.<br>I would happily recommend John D Wood to anyone looking to sell in the area.

Julia went all out to find us a new home we would be happy in, and Nick and Julia worked hard together to make sure our house sale went smoothly. They were responsive and easy to communicate with, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
