3rd Feb 2026 (13 weeks ago)We rented a property in Chingford from 1 February 2026 through Claremont Estates. Zak and Mafiz acted as a great bridge between us, the landlord, and Goodlord. The entire end-to-end process was smooth, efficient, and well explained step by step. The property was professionally cleaned and met a high standard. Everything was handled properly, and we are very satisfied with the experience.

Everyone I've spoken to who has dealt with them has had the worst experiences they've ever had renting. Imagine an estate agent actively trying to undermine and overcharge you at every corner while talking down to you and deliberately flouting the meagre renters rights we have in this country. Lottie and Valerija in particular offer some deeply, concerningly poor "customer service".

Throughout those years, Jade has always been very patient with our queries and always speedy and productive with answers. She was also extremely helpful when our first tenancy ended unexpectedly when our Landlord wanted to sell. She found us a flat in the building next door and we got to move without any fuss at all. Saving what could have been a very stressful event. Very much appreciated all her help.
7th Apr 2026 (27 days ago)Imagine being so unprofessional that you schedule a viewing, talk so highly about your agency and then be extremely lame enough to not show up for the viewing. I had the absolute displeasure to deal with James Setright who scheduled a viewing and then forgot to show up at 308, Garratt Lane address at the time of the viewing. My partner travelled an hour to reach the address and then viola, nobody shows up, I call up and James picks up and tells me that there’s nothing he could do and the best he could do is to schedule it for another day. Whilst being civil and acting like he cared, there was absolutely no other alternative offered. I just feel sorry for the seller here, since they should pick up someone more professional and reasonable to deal with. To anyone at John D Wood who’s the owner, it’s not only hard to schedule viewings and reach your staff but they are just incredibly bad to deal with and make basic errors that are just blasphemous for. The nature of the business.

9th Apr 2026 (25 days ago)Communication was pretty unprofessional and informal. We didn’t get the sense that the property was getting pushed much as we didn’t have too many viewings, but ultimately they got the property sold at asking so overall happy.

9th Apr 2026 (25 days ago)I have just called this company to get a rough idea of how much a 2 bedroom property would cost in the West Norwood area to buy. I was told that they could not give me anything without a valuation. I said that it was only a rough idea that I required and asked why. The person who answered the phone stated that he did not know who I was. I was only asking a general question and nothing specific. I was really taken back with his answer and attitude. I called a couple of other agents, their answer was much more helpful. I have 2 properties in that area that I am thinking of selling and I will definitely not use Northwood West Norwood. I do not even want to give 1 star.

I dealt with Sky and Danielle, who were both professional, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with throughout. They were always responsive and kept me well informed at every stage, and their guidance and support were second to none. They made what can often be a stressful process feel smooth and well-managed from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!
27th Apr 2026 (7 days ago)Bernardo was fantastic throughout the entire process. From viewing the flat to moving in, everything was completed within just a week, which is incredibly impressive. He handled a tight timeline really well and was proactive, responsive, and clear in his communication throughout. It was obvious he worked hard behind the scenes to get everything over the line quickly, while keeping me reassured at every stage. The whole experience felt seamless, which is rare when moving. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with him again and highly recommend him. He was also extremely professional throughout, and both landlords and tenants would be lucky to work with him.

I've tried reaching out to you but you never answer left messages for Eric and Ezgi - UNPROFESSIONAL I understand you and some members where off sick but everytime I drove past your office I could see everyone in the office present and working just not answering my call or messages which makes it more unprofessional . I did CALL and try reach out to you and still no response i left whats app messages on two seperate occasions and two different people still no response so from my point of view I was certainly patient and went above and beyond to try get a response from you which never came until I left a review then the response came instantly My main purpose was to sell the property and whilst working with you I felt the only thing you wanted to do was rent my property out for short let's at rock bottom prices which I certainly said no too especially at the low ball figures you offered me( very low figures borderline disturbing) I'm glad I got my property sold with another agent I believe being honest and transparent is very important in this field which I believe in my opinion I didn't receive from you as an agent We all make mistakes if you owned the mistake and apolisged for ignoring me then we could have resolved this Instanly but to say people where sick when I could see them working in the office has certainly left me disappointed in my humble opinion

Their advice was clear and practical, which made a real difference when decisions needed to be made. Communication was prompt, and they were always willing to answer questions and offer guidance. We felt well supported from start to finish and would be happy to recommend them.- 23rd Apr 2026 (11 days ago)Poor poor customer service. Tried to sell with them for over 6 months, few viewings, never any feedback from viewings and on occasion asked if my tenants could accomm odate viewing late evenings! A very bare minimum approach, eventually had okay offer, accepted then I had to chase them to chase potential buyer who was clearly stalling on getting a solicitor and survey done, so as I expected offer was from a time waster. Asked for my keys to property to be returned signed for and they sent normal post and I'm still waiting! They charge okay commission compared to some estate agents, but never available, never ring back, just lazy approach, like rubbish advert marketing and then sit back and hope property will sell itself. AVOID.

Getting viewings is a rarity and the ones we have had booked don’t go through, don’t know what the team actually do but the whole experience has been so disheartening should of used a different estate agent.
13th Apr 2026 (21 days ago)Neighbour were very responsive and made use of modern communication tools (e.g. Whatsapp) which made planning and managing the house sale process very straightforward and efficient. Jamie from Neighbour was very transparent and worked hard to protect the chain and progress the sale through to completion. He gave good advice and was always friendly both up and down the chain. Neighbour being a local agent was useful for catchups and local knowledge in the East Croydon/addiscombe area which proved very useful in the early stages of putting the property on the market.

Working with Graham and then Azra they guided me through a changing market and provided fantastic advise and communication throughout the process. Azra is one of the best agents I have worked with, she went above and beyond to keep me updated and was always available despite us being in completely different time zones. I would highly recommend their services.

He was incredibly well-prepared and guided us through the viewing in a way that felt relaxed and unhurried. What really stood out was how easy he was to talk to. He has a naturally warm and personable manner that made the whole experience feel far more attentive than property viewings can sometimes be. He answered every question we had and never made us feel rushed or pressured. For someone early in their career, he carries himself with a professionalism and enthusiasm that you don't always see. We'd have no hesitation in recommending him and look forward to working with him to find our home!

After several mishaps during the process, mainly due to our solicitors, Tom did a great job of reassuring us and adding a bit of calm to the situation. The communication was great, providing updates to us from our buyers and others in the chain as soon as they could. Finally, upon completion of our purchase we were given a lovely gift when we went to pick up the keys to our new home. Would highly recommend Tom and the team at Loft. Thanks!
