Fortunately, a nearby GIBBS office helped me view the property. This was an unbelievable experience, and I would not trust this agent or recommend renting through them.

Steve Smith was very helpful and knowledgable and I would recommend when considering a local agency calling Bear Southend for a valuation.

From the first viewing of our property Kendell was warm, welcoming and professional. The rest of our sale was managed by Dallas who maintained communication regularly. Dallas was professional, positive and worked tirelessly to exchange. We always felt in good hands, we had a previously disappointing experience where our chain had broken and Dallas was understanding of this offering regular reassurance and updates. Thank you to all the team for all the hard work and helping us get our dream home.

10th Jul 2026 (18 days ago)I had a house viewing yesterday with Harriet, and I wanted to leave some positive feedback because so often reviews only come when things go wrong - not when they go right!<br><br>Harriet was on time and clearly well prepared. She gave helpful background on the property and explained why it was on the market. The house had been empty for a while and all carpets had been removed, exposing the gripper rods on the stairs - a potential hazard with me wearing slip on sandals. Though Harriet made sure to point this out and was mindful of my comfort throughout.<br><br>She was polite, knowledgeable, and didn’t rush me through through the viewing with generic “here’s each room” commentary, nor did she brush off questions with “you’ll need to call the office”.<br><br>Despite the heat yesterday, she stayed upbeat and cheerful the whole time.<br><br>Whilst this particular property wasn’t the right fit for us, based on this experience, I’d be very happy to find and buy our first home as first time buyers through Leaders in Gosport.

14th Jul 2026 (14 days ago)Seymour’s are a great agent for standard houses and inbound requests, if you want a proactive agent they are not the ones. They have so many properties it feels like they can’t keep track and operate on inbound queries and sending emails only. Same service as purple bricks for more money. There are some really nice people there but the owners attitude is not good, condescending and arrogant which is a real shame.
