14th May 2026 (10 days ago)A definite 5 star rating from me. In a more challenging property market, Angie and Nick got us live on Rightmove extremely fast (we already had a valid EPC). Within a few days they had qualified 5 interested parties and suggested they arranged back to back viewings on the Saturday. By the following Monday afternoon we had 3 offers and were guided as to which was the most proceedable. We followed their advice and exchanged yesterday!! All through the process they have been incredibly supportive and the communication has been exceptional. A massive thanks from Debs and I

The quality of care, professionalism and support is outstanding, both for Landlord and Tenant. Dealing with Reece and Ian has been an absolute delight. If I could give them more than 5*, I would.

19th Feb 2026 (13 weeks ago)My experience with Latimer was alarming and left me feeling intimidated and unsafe. Communication was aggressive and hostile, and I was spoken to in a way I consider insulting, demeaning, and professionally unacceptable. The level of pressure and intimidation I experienced was so severe that I needed mental health support afterwards.<br><br>They attempted to keep my deposit using claims I dispute as untrue and unsupported by evidence. When I asked for everything to be handled properly through the formal deposit protection process (where the deposit is registered), they still obstructed and did not engage in a straightforward, evidence-based resolution. Instead, it felt like pressure and bargaining to make me accept deductions.<br><br>If you have paid rent in advance, be extremely cautious. Despite money already being paid, I was still told I “owed” the landlord. I was also given information about what I could and couldn’t do to escalate, and what “regulators say”, which did not match what I later found when checking official guidance myself — and it felt like this was being used to discourage formal escalation.<br><br>I escalated because this conduct cannot be ignored — they have to be dealt with through formal processes.<br><br>If you rent through Latimer, protect yourself: keep everything in writing, save every message, log every interaction, take dated photos/videos, keep inventories and receipts, and insist that any claim against your deposit is proven through the scheme’s formal dispute route. Based on my experience, the way this was handled fell far below what any tenant should have to tolerate.

So many agents were arrogant or didn’t bother to find the time to help me, or even spend 10 mins to discuss my offers and concerns with certain properties . Mike was patient, helpful and understood what is takes to have a fine balance between the sellers agent and a space for the buyer to get some help when buying a place. Thanks again. I have already recommended you and Lak to my son in law, who are looking to buy their first home.
10th May 2021 (5 years ago)Appalling experience, don't use these agents. No due diligence, no clear information, no urgency in anything they do. I've gone with other agents now having wasted 4 months on what should have been a straightforward no chain sale.
27th Nov 2025 (25 weeks ago)ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS PLACE. If there was only zero stars… A couple of weeks ago, water from the men’s toilet on our floor was literally flowing down the stairs and also through elevator shaft. The smell was disgusting, and there was visible sewage which we have to step into to be able to exit. And no - this wasn’t the first time something like this has happened. We had no choice but to walk through that filthy water just to get out of the office. When I went to reception to ask for the bare minimum - reimbursement for cleaning my shoes - the regional manager, Farah, couldn’t have been more dismissive. Instead of helping, she snapped that they “aren’t liable for damages,” talked down to me like I was her child, and then turned away mid-conversation as if I wasn’t worth her time and said ‘you clearly don’t understand’ then turned her head towards display. This one clearly loves drama, seeing what other residents have to say. Maybe some management or how to deal with people classes... I just wanted to find some base ground as the damage was made from their fault, but they clearly don’t care. I had to spend £30 from my money to clean my shoes. If this is how management treats people, it tells you everything you need to know. Avoid this place at all costs!

I dealt with David who was incredibly helpful in both providing his insights and offering advice as it was my first purchase. David was very quick to reply making organising viewings/surveys/etc easy to organise with completion just over two months after the first contact. I highly recommend David at Martin and Wheatley and would be glad to use their services again!

They were helpful, honest, and never pushy, which made the whole process far less stressful than I expected. No pressure tactics, just clear guidance throughout and even support after completion. Every week they provided an update and Darren or Kristian accompanied prospective buyers on every occasion and took a detailed history of the property and surrounding area. Once a buyer was found, they helped us negotiate on the property we were buying out of the area! This is not an estate agent, this is a personal service that will get you moved to where you want go. Well done team, an awesome experience.
