Used other estate agents but fell short on basic communication and customer service. Samantha in lettings was a bresh of fresh air. From viewing to completion was seamlessly done. Moving can be stressful but Samantha and the lettings team made it a breeze. They provided clear guidance throughout the entire process and kept me updated at every stage, making everything smooth and completely stress-free. Their communication was excellent, and they were always quick to respond to any questions. What really stood out was their attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high standard of service—they genuinely go above and beyond for their clients. 12th Jul 2026 (18 days ago)A number of people had told me that Boyce Brixham were the worst estate agents in the town. I didn't believe it until I experienced it myself. The after sales experience is awful. Once exchange of contracts had taken place they could not have helped any less. They have a limit of 5 visits to the property between the offer being accepted and completion. As this took a total of 5 months this was not helpful. We also had to clear the property of furniture and they would not allow us access to dispose of it ahead of completion despite promises. I suggest using someone else.
20th Apr 2026 (14 weeks ago)Darin and Amanda were very helpful when it came to showing us around our new home and getting everything ready for us, they were quick in responding to any queries and questions we had. We looked around the property in the morning and by the afternoon we were told we could have it, all the documents were sent promptly with clear instructions. Both very friendly, approachable and patient. Couldn’t recommend your move enough.

Both were extremely helpful at chasing the relevant parties and making sure the experience was as smooth as possible for everyone.<br><br>Could not recommend them enough, and if I ever decide to sell my lovely place, i know who i’ll be going to!!<br><br>Big thanks to Darren, Scott and the team.
23rd May 2026 (10 weeks ago)The best team of estate agents in Newquay can’t express enough how amazing these guys are , supported all the way through our house purchase which at times got very tense but they were there for us all the way , Paula is the Boadaicea of David Ball’s what a lovely lady so so helpful understanding and always there for a call of reassurance plus her great determination for getting stuff done always by your side whenever you need her Thankyou so much A***************

20th Jul 2026 (10 days ago)As Executor, I have recently had to sell my Late Mother's home (my childhood home). We asked more than one Estate Agent to view the property before deciding on Stags. The reason for our choice was, in large part, because, on Luke's first visit, he had clearly researched the property in advance, and then gave both a quantitative and qualitative basis for his recommended asking price.<br>Throughout the sale process, Luke and his colleagues were very supportive. They kept me informed of progress, liaised with my conveyancer and were responsive and helpful whenever I had any questions.

So much so that they even kept us up to date with the situation of the house that we were purchasing, as the other agents were horrendous. 12th Jul 2026 (18 days ago)I purchased my house through McFarlane, Tianah was great during the initial viewings and Natalie was fantastic throughout the process at keeping me informed and chasing the solicitor/ relevant parties.<br><br>Only downside was the time taken of 6 months from the offer being accepted to getting the keys.<br><br>The bottle of Prosecco upon collecting the keys was a nice touch too!
