7th May 2024 (12 weeks ago)I recently purchased in the area and was assisted by Ellions estate agents. I primarily worked with Mahul who was absolutely amazing. He was very efficient at coordinating communication between several parties. In my case, the transaction was not a straighforward one and without Mahul's assistance could have easily dragged on a month or two. I was very impressed by his performance as an agent. Ellisons as an estate agency as great and this is from the perspective of someone who prettu much worked with all big name estate agencies (I attempted to purchase 8 times????). My only regret is I wish I had gotten the opportunity to work with them sooner. I know people generally do not have good things to say about EAs but in my experience the EAs here are genuine, efficient and sympathetic. You actually have that feeling of we are working together on this. Shoutout to Adrian and Sam who helped along this journey too!

The communication with Richard Porter was very good and he was always very helpful and proactive chasing the evolved parties to make sure the process would run smoothly and as quickly as possible. Even after the sale, Matt Aboud was very kind to help with some communications with the previous owner and tenants. Although buying a property is a long and bureaucratic, all went really well.

Even at the end, we needed to extend our tenancy for a few days and they were so accommodating to help make it happen. Thoroughly recommend going through CHK.

31st May 2024 (8 weeks ago)We used Matthew Pierce to sell our home in Chessington, following recommendations from our neighbours. Matthew has been amazing at guiding us through this process. He was very accommodating and flexible when it came to viewings, ensuring there were several opportunities to show prospective buyers the property and he always met us in person to discuss next steps. The photographs, documentation and property promotion were excellent, we really appreciated having our home shown in the office window. Matthew has been a delight to work with and we are so pleased to have chosen Matthew Pierce as our estate agent. We have moved out of the area so would not be able to use Matthew Pierce again, but I couldn't recommend him anymore for those residing in Claygate and surrounding areas.

However Reno did not and appreciate that extra step. The viewing was pleasant and informative. The experience and interaction overall was great!
4th Jul 2023 (1 year ago)Dexters acting somewhere between the management and the agent even though the landlady broke her own lease and sent a series of rude emails following. Upon URGENT INSPECTION it turns out most of the issues were from her lack of maintenance (landlady from HELL), mainly the landlady’s fault but dexters have really only been helpful when it’s suited them or my dragon landlady. I would never rent from them again, avoid- they do not cater to tenants! If there was a place to review private landlords I would post there to name and shame & avoid this happening to any other tenants!

We were first time buyers and are hugely appreciative of the honesty and guidance Paul gave us during the offer process, unlike many SW London agents! After our offer was accepted the 5 star service continued all the way through to completion where Paul was very helpful, professional and responsive in dealing with various matters. This resulted in a very smooth exchange/completion. We cannot thank Paul and Moveli enough!

Since the beginning of our negotiations we felt things were a bit strange… But as we really liked the house we decided to still move forward. After awkward beginning we got a call saying that we got the House. We were extremely happy. We them hired solicitors, got our mortgage approved and we were just waiting for the probate. After 1.5 months of our offer being accepted, we received one call saying that they were very sorry but there was another offer (sounding like it was a done deal for the other bidder.. yes it became an auction we believe..) Long story short, even after saying that we would potentially rase our offer to still keep the house, they never came back to us so we could only imagine that they for some reason chose who is buying their houses… At least for us this seemed very evident. With our mortgage ready/approved, investment positions withdrawn and solicitors hired. Big ££ loss will all that on top of the terrible experience… Ps: By the way the house was out of market as it was marked as Sold…
