They offer a remarkable, reliable, good and truly honest service. The staff are so very kind and helpful, and nothing is to much trouble. I have dealt with them for over 3 decades and 100% recommend them.

26th Jul 2024 (1 day ago)Avoid this estate agents. Been renting on 131 bells hill in barnet. House full of mould on walls and windows and they won't do anything about this. I also been waiting 3 years to get the oven fixed. They only care about getting the money end of the month and increase rent every year. I am currently on dispute with them as they won't give me back my deposit. I'm not the first and I won't be the last having this issues. Previously tenant as received only half of his deposit back.
20th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)Nobody would like to get treated like they are beneath others and it is essential to remember it takes 2 to tango. Potential buyers gives you business and should get treated with respect. I was rejected for a viewing when they asked for my proof of funds being in the UK. I have never gotten asked nor required for my current funds being in the UK before a viewing from all other agencies before. Throughout the call, the agent was speaking to me in a very rude attitude as if it is my fault for not meeting a non-industry standard requirement for a viewing. They told me I will not be able to buy a house anywhere if I don't have all my money in the UK now. Anyways, I put an offer in a property with another agency a week later and I am completing soon. Their loss and I will not let this agency to have my business ever again.

I got 6 valuers to come to my property to value it and Bairstow Eves, Christopher was so professional and warming. He was interested in knowing about the property not just measuring it. He was also interested in me as a person and helping me achieve my goal to move. Then I met Klaensa and I could not have asked for a better selling agent. She is on job, making those phone calls, she keeps me updated and she also works so hard because she cares about her clients. She is the ultimate package of professional, kind, down to earth and informative sales agent and it just goes to show because my property went under offer in 2 weeks and I had 2 offers to pick from. They have achieved my expectations and I will always recommend them. Thank you so much to Klaensa and Chris for all your hard work!
6th May 2024 (12 weeks ago)Tasked with finding the right estate agent to market and sell my parents' house I met six agents, but for a variety of reasons I couldn't settle on any of them. Then I met Nicky at Hamptons and instantly felt she offered the professionalism and support I'd need. It wasn't because she gave the highest valuation of the house. On the contrary, Nicky's valuation was actually the lowest (but as events proved, the most realistic). But at that first meeting I felt she knew the local market inside out, and possessed the well-honed instincts that only deep experience can bring. Some people just radiate "trust me, I know EXACTLY what I'm doing". I assumed her team must be similarly great, and I was right. Everyone seemed to have a hand in the process, but Mark took the lead and was exceptional in both his constant communication (no detail of the process was too small to pass on to me), and his counsel whenever we encountered a wobble or needed advice. And from everyone at Hamptons, warmth and humour to make a tricky process a little easier. To anyone looking for the right estate agent to help you buy or sell, you'll find them at Hamptons in Whetstone. Like many other reviewers here, I can't recommend the team highly enough.

From the get-go, Dean was not just focused on showing properties and handling the seller-side activities, but he also took the time to educate and guide me through the buyer-side processes, which was immensely helpful. Dean's expertise and dedication made the whole purchasing process much smoother and faster than I anticipated. His communication skills are top-notch; he was always available to answer my questions and kept me updated every step of the way. If you're looking for an agent who goes above and beyond to ensure you not only find your dream property but also understand every step of the purchasing process, Dean is your guy. Highly recommended for anyone looking to buy/sell in the area.

6th Jul 2024 (21 days ago)Beware! This company do not care about tenants or their welfare. They failed to settle their own dispute with the landlord, who then turned on me to recover her losses. They basically lumbered me with a psychotic landlord, and Instead of dealing with the situation, chased a tidy profit out of a very ugly situation they caused in the first place. Don't be mislead by other positive reviews... They're probably all good if all goes well and their banking their commissions, but if there are any complications they'll leave you high 'n' dry. They're simply not a good company, and their contracts are worthless pieces of paper unless the clause is in their favour. This machiavellian organisation are a disgrace to their industry. They caused me untold stress and cost me a fortune. They should not be allowed to trade. I’d strongly advise you steer clear.
