24th Apr 2024 (3 days ago)As a landlord of a property in Hemel Hempstead that I have been letting with Brown & Merry for the last 10 years. I have never had any issues with my tenants until recently when due to Stephen Counden and Eliot Mortimer's quick response we managed to mitigate the situation before it got worse. I cannot thank them both enough for their support and effort made to come to a good outcome for all. This was extremely stressful for both me and them included and I really feel they went over and above what was expected. Thanks again to you both

Ellie was amazing from the start - friendly, proactive and giving regular updates throughout. The whole process was very smooth and only took 2 weeks from viewing the rental to getting the keys. 6th Apr 2024 (21 days ago)We had a few viewings from them, there was an offer put in for the house mid December 2023. Client had over £200k of deposit. They pushed us to get solicitor etc buyer was ready to go. We did that at start of January 2024.We heard nothing, no even mention of Survey, until we pushed on 05/03/24,there was NO response. then the agent said they were arranging survey, under valued house by £100k, valued at standard 3 bed house. They got another survey arranged, this was then valued at £40k under. The Buyer should not have been allowed to view the property if they could NOT afford the property. I sent a message on 23/03/24 with drawing the property with them as they had wasted 4 months.. we had another offer from a different agent also in Dec but as we had accepted the offer from Scotts we went with them. Big mistake !!!

I didn’t know the area at all so I was going in blind and ended up viewing the flat following a suggestion from the agent. It turned out to be exactly what I was looking for! There were numerous delays due to a break in the chain on my side but the support and communication from the sales progression team was great and although it took longer than expected it still didn’t feel too stressful!

29th Mar 2024 (29 days ago)Picked up the keys to my son’s new house yesterday from Amy Woolley, we could not of been more impressed with how she dealt with us, seriously if I could give her 10 stars I would ?????? My son had a long wish list for his first step on the property ladder and knew he might have to compromise to find something in his budget . Amy lined up several properties to view on the same day and was extremely professional and patient. He then made an offer on his favourite one . Amy explained the purchase process step by step and kept in contact throughout . I would have no hesitation recommending Williams estate to anyone looking to Buy, sell or rent . Stephen cox

13th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Newton and Fallowell, particularly Sue, but also Jess in Sue’s absence, made the process of buying our property happen. We had a particularly difficult sale (using a different agent, in Cambridgeshire). Suffice to say that had Sue not been so proactive in helping with an ongoing number of issues down the chain, the whole process would have fallen through. Communication from Newton and Fallowell was SUPERB, it was the only way we could keep track of what was happening. A professional and friendly service from a company that give the impression of really caring. We would not hesitate to use them again in the future and would also recommend them highly.

27th Mar 2024 (4 weeks ago)Unfortunately had a bad experience lately with Robinsons, we rented until recently, god fobid if you have a major problem with the property you rent from them, they dont answer your emails or calls, its as if they dont care, they've got your money thats all they are interested in, thier employees make empty promises, perhaps they should just stick to selling houses, that way once it done you dont need to deal with them again

9th Apr 2024 (18 days ago)Was keen on viewing a house but some 12 year old kid named Mo who they have manning the phones was completely useless in organising a viewing and eventually said that the house was sold despite not being sold. I went and viewed the house at another local estate agent who were very good at organising a viewing. I event put in an offer and gazumped the poor person who had the misfortune of dealing with Mo and Co at Brown and Merry. I am currently typing this review from that very house! Lesson learnt, when selling £500K+ houses don’t put a 12 year old as your front of house!

She is brilliant and the company are lovely to deal with.

Julie was amazing and after a short discussion about our requirements she literally pulled out of a bottom drawer details of a perfect dream house. This was followed up by Alex showing us the house and happily answering numerous questions with detailed knowledge of the house. It has been a delight to work with such a professional company and would highly recommend them. They know their stuff!
