14th Feb 2021 (3 years ago)I viewed a property at Harlesron which is on the rental market for £2000pm my daughter rang to arrange the viewing to be told they are only doing viewings over 1 days.... surely prospective tenants are shown around until the property is gone??!! However I rang and got an appointment. If I was the landlord, and being a landlord of several properties in the past, I would be horrified at the total lack of interest and knowledge that the young lady had. I totally understand COVID being in the housing business myself but there is certainly no excuse being told to show myself around the maze of the property and I would have expected her to know the basic like if there was a log burner, the boundary of the property, storage facilities and the amount of stables and despite her keep on saying she doesn’t know anything about horses I don’t think you need to know anything about horses but should certainly know what comes with the property. Certainly COVID does not restrict a member of staff walking the grounds showing a prospective purchaser around. I know if I was the landlord I would be totally dissatisfied with the level of service they are getting for their fee and I would certainly expect a better level of service from A prestigious company like Fine and Country! Let’s hope for the landlords sale that the property is taken by someone
28th Jun 2024 (29 days ago)Went in yesterday to talk about mortgages and to view a house which we both tried to book but due to them wanting to see us first to compare mortgage rates we went in, almost felt impossible to book a viewing without them wanting to see us first to compare. Bearing in mind I called up the day before to see if the viewing was going ahead which they said they will get it sorted. So the day come we go in and no one had any idea of us actually going to view the house!!! Which we was very annoyed about as that's what we booked for in the first place to find out 15 minutes later that the people selling the house had an offer last week and is now processing this!!! Fair enough the guy we spoke to vue phone was on holiday but the communication within the team was very poor! Tried to show us different properties which they said wasn't on the market yet which later we found was... waste of our time and lack of communication!!!!

29th Feb 2024 (21 weeks ago)Phoned the branch to sell our house, told the sales team would call us, they didn’t. Waited 2 weeks, filled in an online form asking for a valuation. A week later still no contact. Needless to say won’t be bothering a third time.

As we are new to the area, we requested a recommendation for a surveyor and removal company, who were both excellent. We always appreciated their good communication, and Stuart Clarke attended an extended time second viewing for us at our request.
Excellent team, thank you! Louie and Anna at Savills Norwich helped us to buy a very complicated property, by making the communication really easy all throughout the process. We felt well supported all the way, and would recommend them.

At every stage of the process they were helpful, and went out of their way to build a good relationship between buyers and sellers which worked to everyone's advantage-- especially as in this case the sellers will be our future neighbours. We had very well arranged zoom calls and resolved timing issues to do with stamp duty, moving dates, etc. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and we are very grateful to Sophia and the team.
