27th Aug 2024 (8 weeks ago)Featherstone Leigh tried very hard to sell the property but at the moment it has been proved difficult to sell anything. Of the three agents involved in trying to sell the property they were by far the best in getting prospective clients to visit the flat and the information they gave to the clients. They are also very pleasant to work with.

18th Oct 2024 (5 days ago)This agency is extremely pro-landlord and seems to overlook the fact that tenants are a key part of their business. I've had two very frustrating experiences with them in just the past six months, and I feel compelled to share them. This won’t be a glowing Google review, that’s for sure but just a caution for prospecting tenants. (i) I found a new rental through them, made an offer, had it accepted, signed the agreement, and paid the deposit and advance rent six weeks before the move-in date. Then, less than two weeks before the move, I received a call informing me that the landlord had changed his mind. The agency had security measures in place to protect the landlord but none for me. I later discovered that the landlord hadn’t even signed the contract initially, and the agency didn’t bother to follow up with him. I escalated the issue, only to get a call from a local manager offering nothing but apologies. (ii) Fortunately, I found a new place through a more reliable agent and moved in. Ironically, the property I vacated was managed by this same agency, and the landlord made a claim for my entire £3200 deposit plus an additional £600, despite a very positive checkout report. The agency’s deposit officer pushed hard for me to pay, but when I counteroffered £485, communication suddenly stopped. I had expected the agency to mediate negotiations, but the officer ignored all my emails. I ended up filing a dispute with the TDS just three days before the deadline, and it’s now been nearly four months since I moved out. The case is still unresolved, with the landlord's claim (now reduced to £485, which I had originally offered) sitting at the shelf-resolution stage of the TDS process. If I take this to resolution, I’m confident they’ll get only a fraction of what they’re asking. This is a clear example of how this agency sides with landlords to the detriment of tenants.

From Scott to Joanne and other staff , everyone helped and supported us during our house sale saga , now thankfully completed . We would recommend Curchods to anyone wishing to buy or sell their property , large or small, in this area. Thank you everyone !

Anna M was very friendly at our viewing, as well as Sam who helped us in the first stages of our house purchase. And a big thanks to Frank who was constantly in touch to eventually get us over the finishing line!

He was at all times, attentive and non -pushy. He clearly wanted both the buyer and seller to get the best deal. Through Richards knowledge and patience,I finally found my ideal flat. It was a pleasure to deal with Richard and he was an ultimate professional, and showed real integrity at all times. I would highly recommend.

The Lettings Team is very efficient, helpful and pro-active from the first engagement. Indiana provide key advice on what to do to maximise the rental value and had her promotion strategy formalised the first time I showed her the updated property. Her strategy worked as the property was taken within three days of listing. Seven days later, all background checks and paperwork were complete. Greenwoods ensured everything was taken care of, landlord insurance, inventory, walk around with the tenants. I trust them to provide ongoing management of the property including collection of the rent. Great to deal with, can’t recommend them highly enough.

18th Mar 2024 (7 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

The process was long and had many bumps and issues but throughout it Sach has remained calm and focused on getting the job done. Always proactive and communicative, I was kept up to date (and sometime hassled, rightly to get things done). The journey has been long, but through no fault of Move Inn Estates. Thank You Sachin for getting it done!
11th Oct 2024 (12 days ago)Liam and his team have been great with my sale. Out of all the estate agents I reviewed he was the most personable and honest. My sale has been difficult with various sales falling through for different reasons but Liam has managed to secure a buyer quickly without applying pressure on me to drop my price each time. I also had to pull out of a chain sale twice, and the first time Rob was amazing at keeping me calm and buying me time to decide what I wanted to do. Great people skills. The sales progression team agent Sarah has been amazing. I’m now at the stage where exchange has happened and it’s a few days from completion and I’m very grateful for their help. I don’t think I could have done this without her and Liam’s support and chasing. Even with our new purchase Liam responded instantly and helped with making sure we could prove our sale had gone through. Something which he didn’t have to do as quickly as he did as it doesn’t benefit him. Thank you again I would use Laurels again!
