The team is incredibly responsive (Karen & Ivan) no matter the time of day or night, they’re always quick to help and resolve any issues. It’s been such a smooth and stress-free process from the very start. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional agency!

Great filtering to only organise visit for serious potential buyers. Efficient follow through until from initial offer till completion. highly recommended;
19th Oct 2025 (28 days ago)I have zero faith in any letting agency after the ordeal these guys had me go through. Getting the keys to your new place should be a good day but finding a massive dead rat just outside the porch should've been a sign of things to come. Every fixing in the property was a bodge job and every complaint made about the quality of the furnishings were simply met with a "did you want us to do anything about it or just for the record of the inventory". 6 months into the contract we get notified that we need to leave because the landlord is looking to sell, really annoying but fine. We put a deposit down elsewhere and request to leave by a certain date. - "oh the landlord isn't selling now and he doesn't want to release you from contract". They then do an inspection at the property after the 12 months, everything is fine, they have someone come out to re do the silicone around one of the showers. 9 months extension offered (strange length but fine). End of tenancy and we move out, I then have no correspondence with Granite for 3 months to which I receive an email asking for over £1000 for cleaning, damage and remedial work. This is abysmal and ultimately what service have I paid for to go through a letting agency. I challenge the amount and this is taken to an adjudication in which we end up paying just over £300. Do not bother with this company, do not bother with letting agencies all together, they're useless. Find a private landlord and save yourself the stress. Granite, do better.
21st Aug 2025 (12 weeks ago)They illegally took multiple holding deposits which is forbidden by the tenant fees act 2019 and then when I emailed to ask what was happening with the property they ignored me until i called and was told it has been let. They made no effort to report this to me prior to my phone call 7 days post the deposit being paid.

28th Oct 2025 (19 days ago)Where do I start… Awful experience renting through Jordan Fishwick for 2 and a half years. Constant data protection issues, accidentally sending us personal information meant for other tenants. It was Impossible to get a response from our property manager Stefan, when he did respond to any issues or queries we had it was always at 4.30 on a Friday so he would not have to deal with it when we responded, I suspect this is an intentional practice from the company. They also attempted to take our deposit at the end for issues that already existed in the flat, if you rent through Jordan Fishwick take photos and videos of everything, they will attempt to take your deposit under false pretences. The poor care and standards of the staff is a reflection of the rental market in Manchester, everybody is desperate for a flat so they do not have to treat tenants with respect as somebody will always take the place, be careful dealing with them.

16th Sep 2025 (9 weeks ago)Had an absolutely horrific experience with Leaders. The house was dilapidated and in terrible condition. From day one, we were bombarded with issues, many of which took weeks to be addressed, or weren’t addressed whatsoever. Our heating never worked during the long, bitterly cold winter, despite our energy bills being incredibly high, and no action was taken. We went through at least three property managers in the 12 months we lived there, making it impossible to know who to contact. Constant emails reporting problems were ignored. The house was filthy when we moved in, with furniture dumped in the garden (we were accused of leaving this furniture and asked to pay £300 upon move out, total lies), and the hot water had been left on all summer, ultimately leaving me and my housemates to pay the exorbitant bill with no acknowledgment from the company. There were many other issues, but even after all this, Leaders were difficult when it came to returning the deposit. Three months later, emails are still being ignored. This company is a joke, profiting off students who don’t know any better. If you have any sense, do not use Leaders.

Good advice given on pricing and strategy and would have no hesitation using Encasa again . A very professional service throughout.

10th Oct 2025 (5 weeks ago)Avoid this agency at all costs. They were extremely responsive and attentive before we signed the tenancy agreement, but as soon as the contract was in place, their professionalism completely disappeared. When we moved in, the flat was dirty and poorly maintained — the table was broken (a leg kept falling off for over a year before they fixed it - despite MANY emails regarding this), two closets were damaged, and the place clearly hadn’t been cleaned professionally. Later, we discovered mould, and once the leak causing the mould was fixed, the contractor said the floor needed replacing as it was swelling because of the leak. Before moving out, they sent a list of “things to sort” less than a week before our move-out date. Then they withheld a large portion of our deposit with no justification, and only after we challenged it did they suddenly drop the fee by more than half: clearly showing they were trying to overcharge us. When they finally sent an invoice (after repeated requests), it included charges for light bulbs we had replaced and a full cleaning fee, despite the flat being dirty when we moved in. They ignore emails for weeks, delay repairs for months, and handle deposits dishonestly. Terrible experience: do yourself a favour and stay away.
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Gave them a quick call and they laid out loads of solid investment options with proper returns, not the usual fluff you get from other places.
