Visar was very supportive and encouraging, from the entire process of getting my flat ready, through to the listing. Veronika is an excellent negotiator.I felt she was committed to helping me find good tenants from the start ,and this took a load off my mind. Thank you for your help, definitely 5 stars!!
22nd Apr 2024 (10 days ago)We appointed Chestertons after a personal recommendation from friends with whom they sold their property. We had already had a very negative experience with one of Islington's most famous Estate Agents (they know who they are!) and so terminated that contract and went to Scott and his team at Chestertons instead. It was a breath of fresh air with a totally managed service, excellent sales team and regular feedback and communication. It was the opposite approach to the previous agency and one which was successful at selling our house at asking- price. Guy found the perfect Buyer after many client viewings and their persistence and self-assurance maintained our confidence throughout the process (which is stressful enough anyway). Not once did Scott even consider reducing the price of our house as it had been priced properly in the first place, whereas the previous lot simply wanted to keep dropping the valuation until someone offered! We are grateful to Scott, Guy and the other members of the team at Chestertons; they got the job done!

4th Apr 2024 (28 days ago)We recently sold our very large family home and after asking a few agents around were impressed by the smallest, local agent, Big Move. Aaron arrived having extensive knowledge of how the market was and how much other similar homes were selling for etc. Throughout the journey, he has been professional, responsive and always kept us up to date with all aspects of the sale as soon as he had news. We were overseas for much of the time and Aaron managed all viewings, scheduled surveyors and even workmen who had to go in when we had a leak. We felt confident in handing Aaron the keys and he checked it regularly for us. Even now, after completion, Aaron is helping us with other aspects arising from the sale. We would always recommend Aaron and Big Move to all of our friends in the Hackney area.
28th Oct 2021 (2 years ago)Hi I didn't take the receptionist name but I just called about my father's covid booster and she kindly looked it up and made an appointment for him to have it without any prompting. She could have just given me the details to do it. I wish all receptionist were like her. Well done we need more receptionist like her.

22nd Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Last time I rented anywhere was over a decade ago in Manchester, so I was a bit intimidated by the prospect of entering the cut-throat world of renting in London. Fortunately, it was Gyan that answered the phone, and we couldn’t be happier with the service he provided. Gyan took the time to find out exactly what was important to us and only sent us details of properties that were the right fit, which really helped as we were both working full-time and based in Manchester meaning time was at a premium. Gyan’s communication was great throughout via phone, email and Whatsapp depending on the situation. Viewings were always on time and very professional. The standout for us was that Gyan was infinitely patient and never too busy to answer our queries.

23rd Feb 2023 (1 year ago)Raphael was absolutely brilliant. We had a very tight deadline by which to get our house under offer and he got us a great offer by the deadline. He kept us updated throughout the process and he was really pleasant to our small children, making them at ease when there were so many people looking round the house. He did a great job and we are so grateful to him.

10th Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)We used Oakwood to sell a property for probate reasons. Jay came to provide a valuation and guidance as to the process. Dan then became involved in the viewings - we weren't local so he handled all of this. With the realistic valuation and a good posting on their website including great pictures, the house sold very quickly. During the remainder of the process we got regular contact from both Jay and Dan and if we had any questions or left messages they were very prompt in responding. All in all they were terrific and made the whole thing a lot easier for us as a family. Would highly recommend

30th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)My and my Husband have recently moved into a property that was first shown to us by Christina. We have had some not- so positive experiences with estate agents in the past but Christina was a breath of fresh air. She was so friendly and down to earth and especially NOT PUSHY which was something we really appreciated , almost like a friend showing you around. There was some delays through out the process (none of which were her fault) but we could tell that she was trying her best to get them resolved. She kept us in the loop through out and was available on the phone if we needed help. I would 100% recommend giving her a shout to help you out when looking for a property, she’s great!

Worked around the clock to ensure we were updated with any information revelant to the sale of the house. Mr Cole was very prompt and professional from the first day of showing the property. Nobody enjoys the process of moving, dealing with the chaos of making offers and counter-offers for properties, encountering agents who are either dishonest or evade the truth, or being subjected to considerable stress and pressure. This agency is the stark contrast to all of that. This agency, along with its staff, has been extraordinarily helpful, patient, and most notably, refreshingly straightforward and honest. I will always rely on them in the future, as I felt completely trustworthy throughout the entire process and believed that they were genuinely collaborating with me to discover the best solutions to my dilemma. Speaking of dilemmas, they have gone above and beyond to assist me with my specific situation, which required me to be referenced and approved to move within a two-day period. They accomplished this by working extra hours, liaising with multiple agencies and banks, among others, all while doing so in the most supportive manner. To anyone facing the daunting task of finding a new home, especially under tight constraints or challenging circumstances, I wholeheartedly recommend this estate agency.
