14th Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)Dreadful experience ending our tenancy early. I am disabled and cannot work so me and my partner could not afford to rent the flat any longer, however we where charged an up front fee of £450. Little to none of the agreement was properly explained to us and we have ended up being charged rent and council tax for a property we don't even have access to for 2 months with almost no contact from the estate agents. We also where never informed of the tenancy being filled and our requirement to pay rent being over, we had to find this out our selves and still haven't had a word from the person who was supposed to be managing this agreement. Very disappointed, be very careful working with this team It feels very much like they just want to help the landlord make as much money off the tenants as possible no matter their situation.

1st Sep 2024 (18 days ago)By far the worst company I’ve had to deal with in a long time. You’d think they’d only been in the business for a week. Complete lack of customer service and empathy. “Rex Gooding (owner) 7 hours ago We are sorry that you have been inconvenienced by the fact that we have had to change the lock to the site of 20 garages in Beeston where you occupy 1. We did this due to complaints about unauthorised entry as the previous managing agent had not recovered keys from former tenants. We have given you one month’s notice to collect keys and you failed to do this. Further to this, your recent correspondence suggests that you were responsible for breaking the new lock, which is entirely unacceptable” Reply to Rex: Thanks for your reply Rex, in one fell swoop you’ve reinforced my original review, lack of customer service obviously comes from the top! Maybe you shouldn’t have a drink before replying to customers (assumption based on the fact this reply was received 11PM Friday night)! You are correct in thinking the that reason for this review is the complete mismanagement of the changing the lock to the communal gate enclosing the site of the garages where I am a tenant. If you actually took the time to check your records you will find that I have collected my key. By your own admission you have locked 7 OTHER tenants out of accessing their garage, one of which you have no contact details for, which last time this happened resulted in one lock getting damaged and the other lock had the code maliciously changed preventing access to all. The reason for my correspondence was to point out that your latest action COULD result in the same happening again, giving people 45 minutes notice to collect a key is pretty unreasonable. That is if they get the email, as I pointed out a while ago gmail flags your company emails as spam so there is every likelihood they are not receiving them! The reason I felt the need to post a review was that during this whole saga your company has tried to lay blame elsewhere when it is in fact down to yourselves. YOUR COMPANY has been flagged as sending Spam Emails with google preventing correspondence reaching tenants. YOUR COMPANY failed to compromise in any way requiring tenants to travel to the other side of town to collect keys. YOUR COMPANY distributed keys to tenants without reinforcing the instruction they should not be used until all keys have been collected. YOUR COMPANY gave 45 minutes notice of another lockout to 7 tenants. To top it off YOUR COMPANY is falsely accusing a customer/tenant of criminal damage in a public forum! You couldn’t make this up! But of course, none of this is your fault!

They are professional, reliable and always on hand throughout to put you at ease and guide you through the process. Nothing has been too much trouble. All the staff have been very helpful providing updates or answering any queries on a daily basis. I would definitely recommend Marriotts to anyone considering using their services to rent out their property.

29th Jul 2024 (7 weeks ago)Absolutely incredible service. From the first viewing of the property, to picking up the keys a few weeks later, and everything in-between. I had Kennedy guide me through the whole process, including showing me around what is now my new place of residence, and I can honestly say she was amazing with everything. She provided me with all the information I needed to help move things forward at a good pace, anything I wasn't sure of, I knew I could just drop her an email, and would receive a reply within the same day (within working hours of course), and nothing ever felt like too much trouble for her. Fantastic service, and I would highly recommend Belvoir, and especially Kennedy to anyone!

We have received an apology for these. We are grateful to the agency for finding new tenants, but in light of our experience, have decided to manage the property ourselves

We had 3 viewings in 12 weeks and all found the location not ideal so this tells me they were not qualified properly. Reduced the price by £50k and had no movement on the property. Eventually took it off the market.

We had tried to sell 2 years ago, but due to a number of issues decided to take our house off the market and tentatively came back onto the market with some anxiety in April 2024. From the moment Graham came to provide us with a valuation and an exact marketing plan we have been really happy with the service from start to finish. Their communication is informative but not too excessive, which we had found previously. We were treated with professionalism and a personalised service. Being provided with advice and support at those key moments, whilst being listened to, which was not our previous experience with another agent. Kieran, our Sales Negotiator, assisted with the planning of viewings and negotiated with interested parties for us which resulted in us getting a higher price than we were anticipating. Sam B, Senior Sales Negotiator, then assisted us every step of the way for our sale and fought our corner, using her persistence in getting the completion date agreed by all parties, when no one else was taking the lead. No question was too small and our anxiety moments from our previous experience were soon put at ease by the knowledge and friendly approach all the team had. We cannot thank the team enough and we are now very happy in our forever home.
6th Aug 2024 (6 weeks ago)Shockingly poor communication from this estate agent, booked a viewing 8 days in advance. Arrived at the property no one to be seen, phoned them to be told the vendor never confirmed the viewing so this wasn't going ahead. They could have told me this before I dragged my 1 year old across town in rush hour and my partner left work early as they will have known this for a significant period of time! You think they would be keen when the house has been on the market for 4 months! Avoid if you can!
18th Jul 2024 (9 weeks ago)Wanted details on the Southwell Prebend house after a while I received it requested further information and a guidance on price and a viewing no reply a very well known Southwell resident who I visit discussed it with me ,I wasn't saying I was going to buy it but it would have helped if I was at the very least been given further information . Any how I gave up!! As far as I'm aware unless an agreement has been made which hasn't it should be open for a viewing.

31st Aug 2024 (19 days ago)Warning to new tenants: fill in your inventory as thoroughly as you can on move in as they will try to deduct as much as they can from your deposits on move out. Similar to other reviews: the House was very dirty with heavy wear and tear on move in. Unfortunately another company willing to make as much money as possible from people who come to them for somewhere to live :(
3rd Sep 2024 (16 days ago)Rezide took on a part renovation project that was not an easy sell and did an excellent job of marketing and advertising the house in order to secure a sale quickly. They handled all viewings and communication and responded quickly when needed.
