It’s not easy to find a decent estate/letting agency but they have a "no responsibility" clause in their terms of business, which means that you have no comeback if they fail to do a job properly. Keep yourself updated about changes in the law.

Her professionalism, understanding and extensive knowledge made a difference and my experience a simple process , easy to understand. She is extremely responsive, patient and inspires trust. She is friendly and kind, taking the time to listen and understand what the client needs and looking after each individual need. I am greatly thankful, especially now that renting is such a stressful process.

3rd Apr 2024 (6 weeks ago)I am reporting BHHS Marylebone branch to the ombudsman and am taking the unwarranted check-out charge to dispute resolution. I had a truly awful check out experience as a tenant, which showed a company who clearly is trying to take money from tenants during checkout. They overcharged me £250 and I suspect that I am not the only tenant with this experience. Furthermore, the air quality is dangerously bad in the flat. I strongly advise anyone to avoid using BHHS as a property manager. First, I read the check out procedure carefully. I had to professionally clean the flat and the carpet (albeit not steamed clean). I hired a company with good reviews who also said that they can quickly come back if there are any complaints. Then BHHS Marylebone, several days after receiving the check out report, tells me that the flat was not perfectly clean. This happened around noon. I quickly responded that the company I paid can quickly come back and resolve any issues. On the pictures, the work was quite minor. The cleaning company confirmed this. However, Michael at BHHS refused to reply to them and insisted on using another company. It was bizarre that he ignored them persistently. To me it seemed obvious that he wanted to use another company - I don’t know the motivation behind this but they kept on referring to this company before moving out. The company I used is well established and could have come back. He simply ignored them and hired another cleaning company to clean up there and charged me £250 for it. He did this despite several emails from me (and the professional cleaning company that I used) confirming that this can be resolved quickly. He clearly wanted to use another professional firm - but I don’t understand his reason for this. I suspect that they do this to other tenants too. In essence, we were stolen £250 for something which the cleaning company could have promptly fixed that we hired. Furthermore, for weeks before moving out I told them that the air quality in the flat is extremely bad. We had an air quality measured that confirmed that. I think it comes from a very old carpet which also had carpet moth. We used to sleep really poorly and have bad allergies in the old flat and this has now disappeared in the new house. We told BHHS about the terrible air quality but I doubt that they have shared my concerns with the new tenants. Thus be careful with BHHS, especially the Marylebone branch

1st May 2024 (16 days ago)Laylah Pendlebury helped me so much to turn my dream of once again having a flat in Chelsea. I loved every interaction I had with Laylah, she was smart and on the ball. She was incredibly customer focused, quick and attentive, with a lovely attitude and sense of humour. Laylah’s administrative input was seamless and I liked Wilford’s no fuss approach to navigating the references and legal contract signing. Laylah is a great listener, always keen to help and she quickly resolved the few minor concerns that I brought up, for example ensuring that all lights were on dimmer switches. I liked Laylah’s to the point style of communication, as well as always remaining super courteous and polite. Laylah delivered an outstanding service for me, and I could not be happier with my new flat. I would recommend Laylah and Wilfords to all of my friends for taking the stress out of finding a London rental.
15th Nov 2021 (2 years ago)A regular and convenient place to park your car to avoid congestion charges. If you are driving a big cat, it's a chore avoiding the very tight areas when going from floor to floor and parking
1st Jun 2022 (1 year ago)I have made a big investment with Alesco and they absolutely let me down. They provided very poor investment advice which resulted in a big financial loss. I doubt if I ever get my money back. Additionally, some 30 investors that were invested in the same investment had big financial loss as well. The business model of Alesco is based on very aggressive marketing. They put much pressure on you to buy, and the only thing they care about is sales at the expense of the investor. They are immoral and do not care about you and your hard earned money. I have been trying to reach out and talk to them but they avoid and lie to me systematically. I left another review in the past which was positive, but it was very early on and before I realised what is going on and lost my money. Never invest with Alesco.

16th Apr 2024 (4 weeks ago)Please make sure if you are renting a property from them to take all the tiny details and pictures of the flat especially if it is an old flat. When the time comes for check out you will need to prove to get the deposit back. Be very careful. They will try and deduct money for the issue relating to the old property.

In particular Sal Hussein (head of sales) and the rest of the team in the sales department including Sacha. I achieved a very good price for my house, the negotiations were brilliantly handled and I am thrilled with the result (I hear the buyers are too!) thanks Sal and team!
11th Mar 2024 (10 weeks ago)Stones Residential have no care for their tenants and are only concerned about pleasing the landlords they represent. They took ages to fix various things in our flat, including the hot water last autumn. They took very long to get back to us when we raised issues and even then we received replies that were sharp and rude, with zero empathy. Once we finally moved out they took 3+ months to resolve our dispute and continued to take 0 ownership or responsibility. Avoid at all costs.

I have sold and bought a lot of properties and this was the best service I have ever received. I was a buyer this time but I would have 100% confidence in selling a property with Vantage Residential. I received a one to one service which makes you feel you're in safe hands and the most important client with communication that can not be faulted. Problems solved and all in a very kind and calm way I can't recommend highly enough.
