He was so efficient and quick with everything and really personable at the viewings. Within a day of enquiring we had seen a few properties with him and had an offer accepted. Great experience and really recommend them. Takes all the stress out of trying to find somewhere. Thanks Ben!
22nd Feb 2025 (10 weeks ago)Avoid John Payne - acorn completely Dishonest and Unprofessional I strongly advise against using Acorns Property /John Payne estate ! They have refused to return my £1,500 deposit for 51 Gilbert Close since January 3rd, 2025, and instead of addressing the issue professionally, they resort to gaslighting and deceit. The person handling my case, Georgina, is incredibly rude, unprofessional, and emotionally unstable. She snaps at tenants, dismisses valid concerns, and is clearly not fit for her role. Rather than resolving issues, she gaslights and makes the process as frustrating as possible. This estate agency is full of liars who do not care about their tenants. Save yourself the stress and go with a reputable, trustworthy agency—there are far better options out there! Avoid at all costs.

Matteo has been a great help, very responsive to emails and calls and even managed to assist with last minute emergencies which the buyer placed upon us in the last minute/days, but chaos was averted, thanks to matteo, professional, efficient and reliable. Her attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile truly set her apart. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about finding the right rental, I highly recommend Lorraine!
1st Mar 2025 (9 weeks ago)Overall, a positive experience. The viewings were good, i don’t think they pushed for the most money, but I didn't ask them too so not really a negative. I do think the post sale service needs a lot of work though - I am the one pushing everything along, and chasing the agent and both solicitors, and more could be done to be more pro active. But the sales process was good overall.

However JDM were very consistent and always did their best to help me sell my first property and walk me through the process step by step. The agents were great to deal with, kept me updated throughout pre and post sale. I definitely recommend working with JDM if you need to sell your property in London!

6th Nov 2024 (25 weeks ago)We recently had a property viewing with Ginny Pattni, and she was fantastic. Ginny’s knowledge of the property was excellent, which was incredibly refreshing – especially compared to other viewings where agents often seem to be trainees with limited information.
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

25th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)Although I didn't end up getting the place Sam McCaig showed me due to location change of buying a house, I had the best experience with Sam, the information he provided me really helped me take into account everything required in the buying process, my actual estate agents weren't the best so I was really happy I met Sam initially who prepared me and suggested Mortgage Advisers Alexander Hall who were also fantastic. Even though I did not end up using Foxton I suggest to everyone I know to go with them due to fantastic their customer service
