22nd Apr 2024 (9 days ago)Terrible agency, an agent called Jeordie who had just come for a viewing while I wasn't at home, let the front door open, upon my arrival I also found the French window to the garden open, all the lights on and despite having explicitly requested to wear shoe covers or remove shoes have entered the house with shoes on. I can only be very dissatisfied and not recommend this agency to anyone because the blame lies with the agent but also with her manager who probably didn't teach her how to work. Unfortunately just to leave this review I must put a star at least but I'm not giving any star to this agency.

21st Apr 2024 (10 days ago)I couldn't recommend Christiaan and the team at Keatings more. They gave me excellent advice, kept me up to date on all viewings and Christiaan even got me an above asking offer all in the space of a week. Very professional, I wish more estate agents were like them!

Thank you particularly to Conner, Alex and Wallace in what was a tricky transaction, I couldn't have done it without them and would heartily recommend. I met with 3 agents and Truepenny's were the obvious choice - they were selling my home, not just a house, great communication, great expectation management and understood both mine and my buyers priorities. Had a buyer in 5 days, all vetted and ready to go. A fantastic experience compared with my buying - thank you again all.

We dealt mainly with Laura and nothing was too much trouble. Service with a smile and always delivered in a very pleasant and professional manor. Always happy to go the extra mile. Everything was made straight forward. Nothing was too much bother.
19th Apr 2024 (12 days ago)Just a reminder to everyone about how Orland Reid tried their hardest to screw me a while back (unsuccessfully). They subsequently also tried to report my negative review to Google to have it deleted (also unsuccessfully). I still feel so angry about this and feel it's important to warn others about the conduct of this agency, even after some time has passed - here's my original review: AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL!!! These guys tried unsuccessfully to retain my deposit, blame damage on me that was not on any inventory report and charge me for "work" needed to rectify this fictitious damage using their own workmen, whose quotes for work were laughably extortionate (so no tender process/transparency and taking a cut, no doubt). I had to go through 3 months of tenancy deposit scheme adjudication to get my money back. Their staff and, importantly their owner/partner, deliberately misled me repeatedly and withheld information throughout the whole process, making it as difficult and long winded as possible. The intention must have been that I'd just get too frustrated and give up? They were also paid by the landlord to act on their behalf but at the same time claim to be totally impartial (which is impossible).They are solely motivated by money - this scamming must be part of their business plan and I cannot imagine I am the only one who has had to go through this unnecessary, time consuming and upsetting process. If I could give them zero stars I would. if I could take them to court to reclaim money for the amount of my time they wasted, I would. It makes me so angry that "Estate Agents" like this can still exist. There are so many better, more trustworthy and honest agencies out there, there really is no need to put yourself through the nightmare of dealing with Orlando Reid. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! You have been warned!
25th Apr 2024 (6 days ago)Suggest you avoid renting through this estate agent at all costs, they were ok up until we moved in and then when we wanted to get any issues fixed they would take ages to resolve them (often months) despite following the correct procedure of creating cases through their website. For months we were left with windows that had huge gaps in them where the frame had bent - this was during winter so we had to spend loads extra on heating. We also had part of our ceiling fall down which they never repaired and a broken thermostat meaning we were without properly functioning heating for about a month. The worst part came when we left and tried to get our deposit back, it wasn't even a matter of them just taking loads of money off or anything, despite always having paid our rent in full and on time they have just been stalling and stalling saying they need to speak to the landlord and are still yet to give us an amount or give any of our deposit back. It has now been 8 weeks since we moved out and 5 weeks since we started asking for updates about our deposit leaving me no choice but to go through the incredibly time consuming process of raising a dispute with the deposit company which is a process that can take up to 3 months to be resolved and stirling ackroyd have now stopped even replying to my emails despite my communication with them always being very polite and professional. Absolutely dreadful service.

They would have all the compliance issues arranged for us without us worrying. Cristiana, Perry and the team are lovely to work with and never a question go unanswered. Would highly recommend!

Could not recommend her enough for all the help she has provided and her responsiveness has been amazing.

They are FANTASTIC, the best, most organised, effective and helpful in the business. Brett and John and the rest of the team always do their best and know the business inside out while also possessing honesty and integrity. For a property deal completed today Daniel Derbyshire was my agent and he was absolutely brilliant. Helpful, communicative, reassuring. Daniel and Hunters will never let you down! 10 out of 10!

19th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Unfortunately, I have to deduct two stars due to the nightmarish experience with the sellers' solicitors throughout the entire process. Their questionable practices have made the situation incredibly challenging, potentially necessitating legal intervention, which only exacerbates the issue. While it's true that sellers have the autonomy to choose their solicitors, it's reasonable to expect processes in place to ensure they select reputable ones, especially considering the control exerted over buyers to prevent withdrawal before the exchange. On a positive note, Nick/Jamie provided exceptional support and assistance throughout the entire process, even extending his help beyond completion. I wholeheartedly recommend their services to others and would certainly engage with them again in the future, terms and conditions apply*.

However, when we visited a flat listed with Next Door Properties, Omar went out of his way to show us around and treated us exceptionally well. He made us feel valued, taking the time to address our concerns and ensuring we didn't feel rushed. His kindness and dedication were so impressive that we decided to choose this property through him.
