15th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)My experience with Roberts Hunt Estate Agents, particularly with James, was nothing short of exceptional—if you enjoy having your time completely wasted. James may appear charming and professional when you first meet, but once he's behind a screen, his true colors shine. They have a remarkable talent for inflating property prices well beyond reason—because who doesn’t love a pointless bidding war? It’s almost as if James takes pride in ensuring deals fall through at the most inconvenient moments. Would I recommend them? Only if frustration and disappointment are exactly what you're after!

30th Nov 2024 (21 weeks ago)Very lovely genuine company to sell my property. There was no pressure or aggressive harrdsell like other agents. Everyone in the office was extremely helpful and the communication on viewings was excellent.
28th Jan 2025 (13 weeks ago)Excellent all round. We wasted 4 months trying to sell our property and then it all changed with Shaw and Co, through Charan and his team including Sheetal and Jindra. They did their homework and true to his word, Charan brought us a firm offer within a week of going live. The whole team were fantactic. They were professional, friendly and communicated with us and helped us navigate the whole process. We couldn't have asked for a better set of people as well as professionals. Our only regret is that we didn't go with them from the start.
21st Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)Review relates to property management and their dubious billing / service charge practice. Willmott's charged almost 3 times more for building insurance - when I asked they conveniently mention its the best price their broker managed to find yet i was able to get a like for like policy on open market for £11k less. Standard cleaning charges ~ £50 per hour, bogus charges eg removal of fire extinguishers that had already been removed a year before, £130 for placing no smoking sign, sending out contractors for a job that was not done properly in the first instances and then charging residents multiple times in the space of a year for the same job... an incompetent staff that changes the colour of your own front door without even asking for your consent presumably to drive up invoicing/extra management fees ... the list goes on. Strongly urge anyone that has Willmott's as their managing agents to look closely at your itemised service charge bills to avoid being over charged

31st Oct 2024 (25 weeks ago)Had the pleasure of a couple of viewings with Oasis in the Staines Area, although not proceeding due to a change of location really appreciated the assistance of Kiah for her Knowledge of the area and arranging additional properties that had previously been overlooked, and on the day of Viewings Rukaiya for her calmness and knowledge of both properties and general professionalism shown. Both are a true joy to work with and if i am looking in the area again would definitely contact again.

20th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)2024 I recently returned to Nevin & Wells for both the sale of my property and the purchase of a new home, and once again, they exceeded my expectations. Their team is incredibly knowledgeable and truly goes the extra mile to ensure everything runs smoothly. Being a local agency, they have a deep understanding of the area, which really helped speed things along. The property chain was quite complex, but they worked tirelessly to keep everything on track, even overcoming last-minute hitches to avoid any delays, especially as there were time-sensitive elements affecting some people in the chain. Their proactive approach to managing the chain was impressive, ensuring everyone was kept informed and on track. They supported me at every stage, from listing to completion. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell. 2021 I recently completed a sale and purchase with Nevin & Wells and I would whole heartedly recommend Nevin & Wells to anyone buying or selling their home. From the outset they were clear on how they could help, what the process was and what I should expect from the process of buying and selling. They were knowledgeable about the local area – seriously, I doubt there is a street or door they are not familiar with in and around Egham – and this gives them the edge on pricing advice and areas to focus on or avoid depending on requirements. Their property marketing was innovative, reasonable, and market-sensitive and, when I needed it, their additional search activities kicked in to help fulfil my particular purchasing requirements. Everyone in the office was nice to deal with, were prompt with returning calls, and were up to speed on each property so there was no waiting for someone else to answer questions. All the partners and staff were totally reliable, especially at critical moments and near deadlines, and nothing was too much trouble for them to help with. Nevin & Wells gave us great service going “above and beyond”. If only all estate agents operated like Nevin & Wells, the profession would have much better reputation!

10th Mar 2025 (7 weeks ago)I would highly recommend Alpha Residential. Lisa and Rob were always responsive and went above and beyond with their service while we were selling our house. Rob was very supportive and always contacted all the solicitors if there were any delays. Rob is a very positive agent and his sense of humour helped us to overcome a difficult time as one of the properties we were buying fell through. He was patient and engaged our buyer until we found a new property. For us it was a long process of selling and buying a new property, but Rob was with us in this situation and at the end we got the property we wanted as well as our buyer. Thank you Rob and Lisa, you were great!

14th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)We are having a nightmare with this company. We have now rented a property with them for a year. We turned up to the viewing, sat there for 10 minutes and no one showed. We called the office to be told they forgot to book it in and it would need to be rebooked, we had driven 4 hours to view this property as we were relocating so told them they had to send someone out. We were then rushed through the viewing. We ended up going ahead with the property and had no problems with this part of the process. However, anything that requires any form of management from Martin&Co is horrendous. They have 2 months to complete a gas safety check but left it to the last week they could legally have it done and then Oliver had a go at US for not being able to take a day off work to let them in. We got told it wasn't possible for them to give us a timed slot so we called British Gas ourselves and got told it was possible they just had to request it, M&Co wouldn't, so we did and I was able to work it around my job (but had to organise everything myself). We then got contacted about our yearly inspection, we called and booked it in for my day off, they never showed up. We called to find out that once again, they didn't book it in. We live in Wokingham but half of our communication comes from the Staines branch. We then got emailed 3 days before rent due to say they were changing the account we needed to pay, we went on to set it up and the bank stated it looked like a scam payment based on the account, we contacted the landlord as it was a Sunday and he said he hadn't authorised any bank change, so it did look like a scam! However, after contacting a very rude woman at M&Co they stated THEY were changing the bank account and we have no right to talk to our own landlord and to pay them immediately and we were lying about the warning from the bank (proof attached). We are on a fully managed contract and have had to organise everything ourselves so far, which is ludicrous. We are fed up with communication from this company and would never rent with them again.

Everyone we dealt with was professional, courteous and I felt that they always had our best interest in their mind. We especially appreciated their perseverance in selling our house that was happening in difficult market conditions, but they managed to get there at the end. They always followed up with people viewing the house and kept us updated on progress, even if there wasn't much to update on. I really wish all estate agents were like them and would thoroughly recommend them.
