26th Jul 2024 (1 day ago)We recently sold our property through Johnson & Jones. It was a really tough market when we decided to sell, and we are really happy that we chose J&J, as our sale was not without its hiccups - e.g losing buyers due to refused mortgages, having to change solicitors, seemingly endless delays from the parties in the chain, and so on. Most of our house viewings were carried out by Ryan and Charlie, who both are really professional and gave us the full confidence that the potential buyers would be given full and accurate information about the property. After the sale was agreed, the rest of the hard work was done by Tracy, who is clearly extremely experienced in what she does – without her expertise and hard work our sale would have most likely fallen through. She ended up being not just the estate agent, but also the person we ended up pouring our frustrations out to! She made sure that our exchange happened before Christmas, while she was actually away on holiday. When choosing your estate agent, it can be tempting to go with the one that promises the highest price for the property. We went with J&J because we liked how Craig explained how he came up with the suggested pricing – and in the end we achieved the price they promised us, even in the very tough market. Extremely grateful for all the hard work by everyone in J&J!

I dealt with Sheetal and Shiv who went above and beyond to make sure my sale continued to completion. They were always at the end of the phone for any queries I had and kept me regularly updated.

23rd Jul 2024 (4 days ago)After dealing with a terrible estate agent we used Knights in the end. Their communication was great and we sold fairly quickly although had to take a drop in value. We also viewed lots of properties through them. Scott was particularly helpful.

Would recommend for anyone looking in the area to go with Alpha, just a shame there is no physical location available.

9th Jul 2024 (18 days ago)This is probably more of a glassdoor review but i want everyone to get an idea of how this company actually works! I worked with the company back in 2019 - 2021 and left due to poor management. Staff were treated so unprofessionally and it started to affect my mental health. Recently the two owners parted ways and they reached out to me again and asked if i wanted to work with them again. They promised me things have changed and the way they work is much better. I clearly did not last long there, considering that i am leaving this review 3 months after rejoining. I feel compelled to share my thoughts and insights. From the moment I rejoined the company, I noticed a concerning lack of transparency and ethical practices. The management seemed more focused on making quick profits rather than providing quality service to clients. One of the most alarming aspects of this estate agency was their consistent disregard for laws and regulations. They would often cut corners and bend rules to maximize their own gains, leaving clients vulnerable and uninformed. The lack of proper documentation, misleading advertising, and hidden fees were all common occurrences. Furthermore, there was a prevailing culture of dishonesty within the company. Agents were encouraged to use high-pressure tactics and misleading information to secure sales, often at the expense of the clients' best interests. This not only tarnished the reputation of the agency but also created an unhealthy and toxic work environment. Another concerning aspect was the lack of professionalism and accountability. Many of my colleagues lacked the necessary qualifications and experience, which resulted in poor customer service and inadequate advice. Moreover, when faced with complaints or issues, the management would often dismiss or ignore them, leaving clients frustrated and dissatisfied. Overall, my time at this dodgy estate agency was disheartening and has left a lasting negative impression. The lack of integrity, transparency, and professionalism made it impossible for me to continue working there. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to proceed with extreme caution and thoroughly research alternative options.

They have been incredible and so friendly and so proactive - they chased up all the people that need chasing on our behalf which I just really appreciated so that I wasn't spending my free time trying to chase them instead. From when our offer was first accepted on the property to completion it was all within 5 months (which in the property business is a good turn around!) and Tony was so friendly and I felt comfortable telling him about everything including any hiccups. Rwhitley & Co already have a strong reputation as a good estate agent and it's because of employees like Tony & Mary-Joy that make up the backbone of this place. 100% highly recommend

12th Jul 2024 (15 days ago)I don't know where to start!!! James did what I thought was impossible! He moved my in laws to a new home - but it took 2 years! With a probate on both sides and multiple delays due to ill health in the family, lease extensions and questions upon questions they finally moved! James is one of the most patient people I know and has provided support to my in laws over and above what he needed to. He gave them the confidence to move from a home they were in for over 35 years. His constant communication always put them at ease and provided assurance when they needed it the most. They needed to be in a bungalow close to family and that's exactly where they are now and are extremely happy. Thanks to James for make the impossible possible!

Such a great team, so organised and helpful whatever system they have operating is amazing!! Especially as we are new renters who have been pretty anxious during this process. All was made clear and easy, couldn’t recommend using this estate agent enough if you are looking to rent in the area!! Big shout out to Kirsty and Helen!! Thankyou both!
