Very professional, with excellent communication and most importantly, they knew how to attract the right serious buyers. They handled the viewings, kept us informed, and were very knowledgeable about the local market. A lot of estate agents are more like “marketing” companies and lack the personal touch. Aston White feels more like a professional consultancy, which is what makes them different. If you are looking to sell or buy a property in Billericay, I would suggest speaking with Aston White first. We tried a local estate agent before, and you couldn’t even compare the two.

19th May 2026 (24 days ago)We used Elliot and smith to put our first little home on the market. From the moment they visited and gave a valuation they have been brilliant. They are not unrealistic like some estate agents and they was always at the other end of the phone. Julie, Steve Dan & Zuhre have dealt with our sale so well and was making sure the process was quick and efficient. When there was times of uncertainty in our chain they were so reassuring and supported us in our decisions, in making sure they was the right ones.They really are an incredible bunch of people and so kind and down to earth who have now become good friends of ours. Would ALWAYS highly recommend E&S , they are an absolute credit to the “ Rayleigh estate agent scene” who put in so many hours in the day to make sure their clients receive the best service. Hopefully we don’t have to move again, but if we do, we will without a doubt use Elliot & Smith. Amazing!

15th Mar 2026 (13 weeks ago)Here is a brief outline of the goings one which happened while the property was still under my ownership. 1 The keys to the property were given out on an adhoc basis to various trades employed by the potential new owners. 2 Potential new owners demolished part of the property 3 Potential new owners started decorating the property 4 Potential new owners gained access to the property without my approval on various occasions All in all a pretty pi## poor performance all round, when I emailed my complaint, never heard a word back , I strongly suspect the email never made it to the bosses in box or he/she didn't give a toss

The team are professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout the process of letting and managing. Communication is always clear and timely, and any questions or issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently. What really stands out for me is their friendly and approachable attitude — they make what can often be a very stressful process feel smooth and straightforward. Their attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to providing great customer service as second to none. It wasn’t easy, despite it being a small chain, but we got there in the end and I was very happy with their service and communication. I won’t be moving again (the stress!) but if I do, I would certainly use them again. Thank you

Fiona, Jay and David have been absolutely amazing — extremely helpful with every issue or enquiry we’ve had, and always so friendly, kind, and professional and very quick to resolve things as well !! I’ve rented many properties over the years, and I can honestly say these are the best agents I’ve ever dealt with. They have a genuinely welcoming open-door policy, and everyone in the office has been smiling, approachable, and helpful every time we’ve visited. Highly recommended!

Andy would always be available even out of hours. Would highly recommend this estate, they kept me positive about selling my property as they really understand the local market. They answered all questions promptly and with care. They chased whenever I asked and were an amazing conduit between myself and the buyers. Please consider Amos if you are thinking of selling. The whole team are caring, polite and courteous. They showed enthusiasm when conducting viewings of my home, which had various offers within 2 weeks of being on the market.
