15th Jul 2024 (1 year ago)Had to ring agent to ask about viewings when completed. They initially were focused and enthusiastic but later on it seemed to be more of a hinderance trying to sell our house.

You’ve all been incredibly proactive, constantly following up, communicating clearly and doing everything necessary to move things forward and get our property sold. Your hard work and commitment have not gone unnoticed, and I’m very grateful for everything you’ve done. Thank you again!
3rd Jun 2026 (16 days ago)After multiple formal requests, this letting agency has failed to provide basic documentation including rental contracts, deposit protection details, and rental account statements. They have repeatedly ignored our requests for information, and, as new owners, we do not have a legal management contract in place with them. There has been a consistent lack of transparency around rent collection and tenant agreements. We would not recommend them as a letting agent and everyone should avoid them.

26th May 2026 (24 days ago)Duncan came to view and value our 6 bedroom property in Egerton …stayed for an hour and a half …. left promising to send detailed email valuation … two weeks later still nothing despite calling the office to check he had the correct details. Not very professional and not a good sign. Won’t be proceeding with savills

3rd Jun 2026 (16 days ago)Wards, Deal branch, have gone above and beyond to help me complete on my purchase, and I can't thank them enough. My buyer's mortgage offer was due to expire, the day I completed.. There had been delays with the buyer's enquiries, and with other legal issues he had (he was not going through Wards). Amanda offered to work late so the chain could complete on this final day. I was struck by her humility in doing this, in her own time. She has consistently gone out of her way to help, her communication has been brilliant, as well as her determination to ensure the sale went through successfully. Dylan went out of his way with paperwork, which I was struggling with, always willing to help. Ellie has been generally lovely when I've been in, helpful, friendly and very professional with it. Thank you so much for an excellent impressive service, all of you at the Deal branch.

9th Jun 2026 (10 days ago)Geerings did a reasonable job in marketing our property and initially managing an offer but once that offer was accepted on our property there was a disappointing lack of service. They were un-communicative, ineffective, un-proactive and totally uniformed. They failed to call on a number of occasions they said they would and at times we didn’t hear from them for over 6 weeks at a time. They had no handle on what was happening further down the chain and there was no drive to find out. Over a year this ultimately led to 2 chains collapsing, both within a few days of exchange, neither of which they had knowledge of at the time. At no time did I feel they were looking after our interests and seriously trying to get the transaction across the line. Any complaint or criticism was met with silence and ignored. I would never use them again and I certainly would not recommend them. .

Which really helped with all the new home anxieties. Moving is always stressful but they made the whole process so easy and ultimately exciting. Cannot recommend them enough.

15th Sep 2022 (3 years ago)The staff are all very professional, and are very willing and able to address your concerns as the lines of communication are always open - so important in leading the seller through the legal labyrinth. They were also extremely helpful to my buyer which made the whole transaction as stress free as possible. Friendly advice, good local knowledge, good communication and professionalism- everything that you need in an estate agent and everything that Jenkinsons in Deal provide.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
1st Jun 2026 (18 days ago)I have got to say that from day one we found Robert to be a very personable person & also, at a later stage, ditto to Mathew. We have enjoyed a fantastic relationship with the two of them throughout the whole process. We were kept informed, at every stage, as to where we were & what should be happening next. They were also very proactive concerning both the buyers & our solicitors when & as required. It has been fantastic to find two highly motivated people where nothing seemed too much trouble. We would both like to say a massive thank you for everything. We would certainly highly recommend them. John & Tracy

Special thanks go to Emily Strickler who kept me informed throughout the whole process and explained everything in simple terms when I was not sure about things. Clare was very positive about our property and suggested a price-range, which other agencies hadn't. The property was presented very well in the marketing material, and it was good to know that social media would also be used to market the property. Multiple viewings were quickly arranged. Within two weeks of going on the market, we were going to best and final offers with three interested parties. Clare discussed each of the offers with us, and helped us to decide which to accept. A very positive experience, and we would definitely recommend Wilson Real Estate
