3rd Feb 2026 (6 mo. ago)We rented a property in Chingford from 1 February 2026 through Claremont Estates. Zak and Mafiz acted as a great bridge between us, the landlord, and Goodlord. The entire end-to-end process was smooth, efficient, and well explained step by step. The property was professionally cleaned and met a high standard. Everything was handled properly, and we are very satisfied with the experience.
30th Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)Its not worth even giving 1 star as the property they are letting or they are managing, they are unable to solve single issue even after 8 months. Every time they just gives answer that they are following with landlord. I would not recommend anyone to go with this agent. As they promise they will do everything and till that day of your moving they will put into delusion and after moving they dont care you will put into queue for months like I mentioned above.<br><br>Even the five star review I believe they might asked there friends to put as this guys are not worth for 2 star for responding.

22nd Jul 2026 (16 days ago)Anthony was genuinely the most professional, helpful and friendly estate agent we’ve ever had! From the first viewing, he knew all the answers to our questions, and once we agreed to rent the property, he worked super quickly to get us in within a week. Once in, he has been extremely responsive to any questions or issues we’ve had, sorting some maintenance issues while we were away, and nothing feels like too much trouble. It’s honestly been such a refreshing experience! Would 100% recommend Anthony, it couldn’t have gone any better ??????

We were new to the UK and were having great difficulty getting anyone at agencies across the city to speak with us. Ben accepted us as walk-ins and allowed us to see several units. Ben was very communicative and worked hard to get our offers in front of prospective landlords.<br><br>Ben left such a great impression on us and were thankful for the hard work he put forth on our behalf.
23rd Jul 2026 (15 days ago)Mehmet and Rej do not respond to emails. As a landlord rent is supposed to be paid to me on the 5th of each month. Almost the end of the month and full rent hasn’t been paid, whenever i reach out to them for days asking for clarification or the reason for extreme delay all your emails get ignored. This is not the first time I’m having to chase my rent or send countless emails concerning the delay of rent being paid to me. I have typed several emails from last week to them no response. Why do you ignore landlords when you’re the one managing their property? How long does it take to type a response? Highly unprofessional. Will be switching agents

Everything was handled professionally, and I was able to move into my new home quickly without any complications.<br><br>A special thank you to Souliman, who was amazing throughout the entire process. From our very first phone call, he made me feel comfortable and welcomed. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. 18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. 27th Jul 2026 (11 days ago)Our experience with this estate agent was extremely disappointing. We found Arun to be unprofessional and lacking in transparency throughout the process. Communication was poor, and we were left feeling misled and unfairly treated. Overall, we have no confidence in the way our purchase was handled and would not recommend this estate agent based on our experience.<br>This was by far the worst estate agent I’ve ever dealt with. I found the whole process lacking in transparency. I was also concerned that the AML checks were carried out through a company connected to the agent’s wife, without this being made clear upfront. Charging £300 each ( most estate agents charge £36). When we questioned this it was brought down to £150. They also wanted us to pay a deposit. The contract was not clear if we would get back.<br><br>The most upsetting part was that, while we were in the property viewing it again, we later discovered it had been sold to another buyer for just £3,000 more. We felt completely misled and extremely disappointed by how the situation was handled.<br><br>Based on our experience, I would not recommend using this estate agent.

He took us between each in person and listened carefully to our feedback and responses. He also drove us back to our starting point once we'd seen all the properties.
