25th Sep 2026 (21 days ago)My situation was challenging due to my losing my first buyer, and then the solicitors in the middle of the chain causing unnecessary delays. But Petty Son kept me going all through the process and held everything together for me so I could still purchase the property I was first interested in. When it came to completion they were exceptionally kind and caring due to the challenging situation which was not any fault of theirs whatsoever. I really appreciate their help and consideration all the way through. Thank you so much to each of you individually and collectively. Highly recommended.

Also Maria was always there at the end of the phone. I also would like to Thank Katrina for coming to the property and getting all this started, and Thank you to Mohammed for doing all the viewings

27th Apr 2026 (25 weeks ago)I was a tenant of Dockside Property services for two years. In that time, they charged me disgusting amounts for a check in fee, check out few, signing fee, if they had any involvement you better believe you'd pay for it. They also took 1.5 years of that two year tenancy to fit a bathroom extractor fan which was broken when I moved in, and that the previous tenant tried to get fixed. Every issue I ever raised was dealt with in a sluggish manner sadly - an online portal / report system can be as fancy as it wants - but it doesn't help unless you actually check it. They were also kind enough to charge us for additional cleaning of the property when we left it spotless - as well as trying to charge us £60 for replacing a piece of wood under the dishwasher that wasn't fitted back after repairs that they did. The reason it didn't fit was because the repair made the gap physically too small for the wood to fit in, so oddly enough I couldn't refit it, but somehow they didn't seem to understand that. Maybe they didn't do that "get the shape in the hole" game when they were younger. After explaining this they then doubled down on their stupidly and we disputed via the DPS, and they settled in our favour because I figure someone that works there actually has eyes / a basic understanding of shapes and measurements. Either way, I wouldn't rent from them again unless I had no other option. Oh, and if you're looking at renting 25 The Eye, the flats in Chatham, the hot water is basically non existant (unless you take 3 second showers), the washing machine is from the early 90's, rent is very high, you can hear every breath of your neighbours (above, on both sides and below) as well as the lovely potent smelling...."cigarettes" from those below 24/7 - and if you hear a scuttling in the night in the walls or see something dash across the kitchen floor, don't worry, that's just the rats from the bin store under the building. ??????

Selling can be such a stressful process, but they made it feel as straightforward and stress-free as possible.<br><br>A special mention to Julian, who was fantastic throughout. He was consistently tactful, knowledgeable and thorough, with excellent communication at every stage. He was also brilliant at arranging viewings and keeping everything moving.<br><br>Nicole was also great at keeping us updated and making liaison with the buyer so much easier, and Lindsay was very efficient at getting all the paperwork and forms out to us quickly.<br><br>Overall, the whole team were incredibly friendly and personable, which made what could have been a very difficult process so much easier. We always felt that we were in safe hands and would absolutely recommend Brookings to anyone looking to sell their property.

The procedures at Spencer James Residential are highly efficient and clear, so I didn't have to worry about a thing.Thank you for helping me rent the home I wanted.

From my initial enquiry, Carolina was very responsive and proactive, which made such a difference during what can otherwise be quite a stressful process. She really listened to what I was looking for, gave helpful advice throughout, and was always quick to follow up.<br><br>The whole process was incredibly smooth, quick and efficient, and I’m so pleased to have ended up with a flat that feels exactly right for me. I only wish I’d found Carolina and the agency earlier in my search!<br><br>Would definitely recommend.

23rd Sep 2026 (23 days ago)Extremely disappointing experience with Portico. The process was marked by poor communication, disorganisation and conflicting information from different members of staff. We were repeatedly given assurances that turned out not to be accurate, and important information was either missed or communicated far too late.<br><br>The situation ultimately fell apart shortly before our planned move, leaving us scrambling to make alternative arrangements. What was particularly frustrating was the lack of accountability or clear explanation from Portico throughout the process.<br><br>A year on, this still stands out as one of the most poorly handled experiences we've had with a letting agent. I would strongly recommend getting everything confirmed in writing and not relying on verbal assurances.

15th Oct 2026 (1 day ago)I think it’s difficult to give a ‘normal’ review here. When l met with Victoria l was very impressed with her refreshingly different attitude. She is a breath of fresh air compared to the other agents l met with and I’ve no complaints. All l mean really is it was a very different world and different economic situation when we met then political events affected prices and mortgages a huge amount which made selling the house much more difficult. But it was managed, l accept that the price is lower than we talked about, not the agents fault and l was in no way pressured to drop it, it was my choice. So all in all a good selling experience l’d say.
2nd Oct 2026 (14 days ago)I have dealt with Mirko in 2020 when he managed to get my property rented in less than a week. I look forward to dealing with them in future when I need to find a new tenant.<br><br>This is an update as I wanted to make sure that this review is published. This is at least the third time now I have used Settle East to help me rent out my property. The last time was in August 2023 and now again in August 2026. I was away for the entire process and had to rely on Mirko and his team to resolve issues the new tenant raised at the last minute regarding some of the furniture which needed removing. They also sorted out a new EIRC to make things compliant. The whole experience was very easy for me as they did all the hard work. A thank you to Elif as well who managed most of the details. Not sure what else to say other than I have had positive experiences each time I have used them.

I especially appreciated the helpful orientation and clear guidance provided throughout the process.<br><br>Pratik was professional, supportive and made sure everything was explained clearly, which made settling into my new home much easier. 2nd Oct 2026 (14 days ago)Summary:<br>Presidential Estates were highly professional throughout, they achieved a higher sale price than I expected, and they supported me through a difficult situation due to the death of the property owner before contracts were exchanged.<br><br>I highly recommend them, and I will definitely use them again.<br><br>Many thanks to Matthew Sargeant and his colleagues.<br><br>First Impressions<br>As soon as I walked through the door to the office the vibe was friendly and welcoming, so I immediately felt comfortable.<br><br>I was selling my father's house to pay for his care home fees. I am very much a detail person, especially with important financial matters, and I strive to nail down any potential issues, ambiguities and possible risks. I know some people find this a challenge to deal with, but Matthew, who managed my sale, was patient and accommodating throughout.<br><br>When working through the sales contract, once Matthew understood my situation and the potential complications, he became proactive and made recommendations and provided advice which made the situation and choice of Estate Agent much easier for me.<br><br>Open Day<br>We agreed to have an Open Day, something I had not experienced before.<br><br>Jack, one of the Sales team members, hosted the Open Day. He came to the house to explain the process to me. We discussed the house background, and we agreed the key selling points.<br><br>I was not present for the Open Day, but he obviously did a great job as he secured several offers higher than I expected.<br><br>Complication<br>Having secured a buyer and with the sales process progressing, unfortunately, my father passed away before contracts were exchanged. This meant that the sale had to be delayed for several months while I applied for probate.<br><br>While this must have been frustrating for Matthew, he never once put pressure on me, and he successfully managed the buyer, despite the long delay, to ensure that the sale could restart as soon as probate was completed.<br><br>Communication<br>Throughout the process the communication was excellent. We used phone, Whatsapp and email, whichever was appropriate.<br><br>General communication was managed by Vesa, the Office Administrator, who was polite, friendly and professional throughout.<br><br>A Decision Well Made<br>Someone I know was also selling a property at the same time as me.<br><br>They told me of various problems they had with their estate agent and, as I had had no problems whatsoever, it made me doubly thankful I chose Presidential Estates.
