14th Apr 2026 (22 weeks ago)Security is not a thing for them. A stranger entered the building in the middle of the night and activated the fire alarm of my flat by smoking in front of my door. I didn't understand what was happening, I just tried to set the alarm off. Fortunately, I didn't open the door. Anything could have happened if I had done it. The agency never messaged me to ask if I was alright. Long time after the incident, they finally decided to replace the front door lock. But the job wasn't finished on a Friday evening and the door was completely unlocked during the whole weekend. Apart from that, they evicted me saying that the flat would be renovated, which was a lie. But that's a detail. If you want to live in a place where you feel safe, and also feel you can trust your agency, avoid this one.

I couldn’t recommend Statons enough if you’re buying in the area.- 13th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Very unprofessional and grossly unreliable. Second time they have called 6pm the day before a viewing is due to take place (diarised for over a week) to cancel. No apology or care, no explanation, and quite rude. Poor management and quite amateur-ish.
2nd Mar 2025 (1 year ago)My communication with Winkworth was on and off. During that intermittent interaction with one of their agent, he sounded professional and very eager to assist with the selling. Overall Winkworth tried their best to sell my property but unfortunately was unsuccessful.
11th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unprofessional Receptionist! (Didn’t explained to the dr what happened with me!) Arrived 5 mins late just because it’s my first time to go for “register only”and the receptionist said you are late!! I was looking for a car park and I parked my car 10 minutes away from the dentist as I couldn’t find a space and I moved new to this area!! I explained that but there was no mercy! And it was raining and she saw me i came with a little baby with pram!! They also didn’t say arrived earlier than your appointment in about 5mins when i spoke to them on the phone! (When I arrived she told me that!) It’s only a form you need to give it to me get my details!! I don’t know why she didn’t let me do the form as the dentist was empty no one in or waiting!! Plus the receptionist didn’t welcoming!! Very bad service will never go back to this dentist !

Their feedback was always constructive and enabled us to adjust our approach to the sale, ultimately leading to a successful sale, in what was a difficult market due to UK and International economic factors.

25th Jun 2026 (12 weeks ago)This is the third property i have bought in Shenley and Chris and Georgina have managed the all three. I wouldn't use anyone else. In this tough market we find ourselves in they work tirelessly to push the sale of your property and help in finding you the perfect fit for your next move. This stressful process was made even more difficult by a sub standard solicitor and Georgina went above and beyond to try and help solve the delays and issues caused by this. A real family business who i cannot rate highly enough.

22nd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)I am a 44 years old an a Gas Safe Engineer. I have been working in maintenance since 1996. Never seen a worse maintenance company than Strettons. I have no words to describe how we the residents of Onslow Parade N14 5JN feel. Come and judge for yourself before considering to buy or rent a property where this company is involved. Now obviously they are going to reply that they do as much as possible etc . Which is rubbish! We are their customer and we are the people entitled to give them a honest good or bad review. Don't listen to they answers

I found them to be very professional, knowledge and they have me some great tips in order to finally sell my home. We went ahead with Big Black Hen and there suggestions and hey presto, our house sold. Ive since recommend Big Black Hen to my friends and family. Great service

20th Oct 2025 (10 mo. ago)When I enquired about a property’s asking price and the seller’s position, I was met with terse, dismissive replies from the female agent I spoke to on the phone - a remarkably unhelpful attitude towards a serious buyer. I decided to proceed with the viewing regardless, but communication remained poor throughout. Afterwards, I submitted a formal offer, which was completely ignored. I never received any confirmation or follow-up, and it appeared my offer may not even have been passed to the vendors - which, if true, would be a breach of legal duty. The overall experience suggested a lack of basic organisation, professionalism, and integrity. For sellers, that should be alarming; for buyers, it’s simply exasperating. I would strongly advise caution when dealing with this agency.

We would not hesitate to recommend Lowther Estate Agents to anyone.<br>We have had to work with 4 estate agents over the last 2 years for various reasons and Lowthers were by far the best. Richard was our agent and point of contact right throughout the process, for both our purchase and our sale. He was exceptional - and everything we wanted from our agent. He was available, accessible, down to earth, accommodating with requests, never pushy - and he supplied regular communications and updates. He understood that the move was a major life event for us and he managed the whole process calmly and professionally, chasing where necessary and advising as required. Queries were answered very promptly, every time, via phone call or WhatsApp.<br>Our experience was that as a small family run business, Lowther Estate Agents were far better equipped than the bigger chains to give us the time and personal service we wanted, with Richard and Toni-Ann working together to manage the whole process. We cannot speak highly enough of the service we received.<br><br>We had thought that all estate agents were pretty much the same. They are not!

12th Jan 2026 (8 mo. ago)During my viewing with Mr Soobh, I felt uncomfortable due to comments about my choice of clothing and inappropriate remarks regarding bedroom size. The whole experience felt unprofessional. I was referred by a neighbour who secured a property late last year, so I expected better, especially given the type of properties involved. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend, and I wouldn’t advise any woman to attend a viewing alone.
13th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)Ivy & Stone seem like a lovely estate agent and I really like the properties they have available. My only feedback would be regarding the website, as I personally find it quite difficult to navigate and a little unclear in places. It can sometimes feel a bit all over the place when trying to find particular information. I think a slightly simpler and more organised layout would make such a difference and make the overall experience much easier for potential tenants/buyers. Just some friendly constructive feedback as everything else seems great :)
