They kept in regular contact throughout the process and dealt with us and our buyers in a professional and straightforward way. Their marketing materials were significantly better than we saw from other agents. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Especially as this was during the difficult market conditions in the first half of 2023. I would highly recommend the Jackson-Stops team in Bury St Edmunds.
9th Apr 2024 (18 days ago)Be careful with your deposit. This company is very sneaky and will take at least half of it for 'cleaning' and minor damage which should come under wear and tear if you're an occupant of the house/flat for a certain period of time. They WILL NOT take this into account which is illegal. They will also avoid or defer discussions on the matter to other companies like DPS which makes it harder to claim your deposit back. They will also ignore black mould in a bathroom, even when asked to do something about it, and were slow to reply (weeks) on anything financial. Untrustworthy, unscrupulous and thieving.
21st Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)I work on French carriage clocks and have bought many over the years for restoration. I just won one at LSK auctions. I do have to say that their level of service was impeccable. The clock was exactly as stated on the requested condition report. It was packed by LSK and sent using their courier service - APS. The packaging was excellent. LSK's staff were very professional and friendly. The clock was delivered within 5 days of me winning it and at a very fair courier price of £20.00. I just wish all auction houses were as responsive and professional as this one. I most certainly recommend them from my experience - thank you to all at LSK.

It wasn't the most straightforward of circumstances given the current economic climate, but Lewis showed great resilience and achieved a great end result for us including the exact kind of buyers we could have hoped for. 18th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

17th Jul 2023 (9 mo. ago)STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!! THEY APPLY EXTRA COMPLETION CHARGES WITHOUT NOTIFYING YOU NOTHING WAS MENTIONED ON LEGAL PACKS MY SOLICITORS CHECKED ALL THIS WHEN IT CAME CLOSE TO COMPLETION I WAS TOLD I HAVE TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL £10,165. SCAMMING COMPANY AVVOID

I found other estate agents would pester you and just worry about the sale, but Molyneux and Tom in particular were different. They were very professional, helpful and answered all of our questions thoroughly, whilst putting your needs first. I would highly recommend using Molyneux in the future to anyone looking to purchase a property.

9th Apr 2024 (18 days ago)Poor behaviour from this company, tried viewing a property only to be told i could view it only in two weeks time on a Saturday. This day obviously convenient for them to stack viewings on the same day and create a pressure bidding war enviroment for potential purchasers. Having no part of it.
