25th Aug 2026 (23 days ago)I have had an extremely disappointing and stressful experience with Jones & Chapman, and I feel compelled to warn other tenants.<br><br>Despite repeatedly reporting ongoing health and safety issues in the property, Jones & Chapman have consistently refused to take meaningful action. Serious problems that pose risks to our wellbeing have been ignored for months, leaving us living in unsafe conditions with no urgency or accountability from the agency.<br><br>Customer service has been equally unacceptable. The staff have been rude and most unprofessionalI have ever dealt with. Their behaviour has been dismissive, confrontational, and at times blatantly dishonest. Instead of helping resolve the issues, they have made the situation significantly worse with poor communication and a complete lack of respect for tenants, by advising the landlord that the house is in great condition. Also trying to contact them and speak to someone is impossible, nobody ever answers and calls you back from a voicemail left. If I could give zero stars I would.<br><br>Jones & Chapman have shown:<br>- No commitment to tenant safety<br>- No willingness to carry out essential repairs<br>- No professionalism in their customer service<br><br>I strongly advise anyone considering renting through them to think twice. This has been the worst letting experience I have ever come across. If I could give no stars I would.

From day one, she was incredibly helpful and supportive, and she made what could have been a stressful process much easier.<br><br>She was always willing to help, answer my questions and keep things moving, especially when there were delays and issues with communication. She went above and beyond to help us secure the property and get everything sorted.<br><br>Thank you, Kaitlyn, for making the experience as smooth as possible and for helping us secure our new home. Highly recommended!

29th Aug 2026 (19 days ago)I was under Northwood for 3 and a half years I am not the type to leave a review but I think to help others if their considering using them, Tennent, landlord whoever I would massively reconsider. They are the most rude and unprofessional estate agent I have ever come across. They take between 5-6 months to sort maintenance issues or sometimes just leave you without it being sorted. They don’t understand safeguarding or they just don’t care, there has been times iv been on the phone to a staff member from Northwood reporting an issues and mid conversation she started talking to someone else in the office, so she clearly wasn’t listing to me, all they say is we will call you back and never do, god knows what they do in that office because they don’t seem to work, they have put my rent up after every inspection without any improvement by them on the house I was in, and this is the worst part. Even the person who owned the property wasn’t happy with they was they worked and had to go through the hassle of getting rid of them and getting a new estate agent on board to manage the house as they wasn’t competent to do so. Northwood caused me alot of stress and I would never ever use them again is rather live in a tent !!!!
7th Sep 2026 (10 days ago)A massive thank you to all the team at Alastair Saville. We sold and bought with them, and so glad we did! Christine was fantastic at pushing our home out to get viewings, and once sold STC Kate and Anne-Marie were amazing at sorting out all queries and also navigating and feeding back to me everything going on in the very long chain. What was a very stressful move really was eased by the staff at Alastair Saville and we really can't thank them enough. If you're selling they 100% work for you every step of the way, and when buying every query you have they are so responsive and helpful couldn't of asked for better. Thanks so much everyone for getting us into our new home, has been a crazy few weeks but definitely worth it! If we ever decide to move again we'll definitely be back. 27th Aug 2026 (21 days ago)Very disappointing experience.<br><br>I had a valuation appointment booked for 9:30am today. I arrived on time and waited, but there was no confirmation prior to the appointment and no communication to let me know that the agent was running late or unable to attend.<br><br>After waiting around 20 minutes, I called the office/agent myself, but the phone rang out and nobody answered.<br><br>I appreciate that delays can happen, but if you are unable to attend an appointment, I would expect the courtesy of being informed. I had specifically made time for this appointment and unfortunately the lack of communication has left a very poor first impression.<br><br>I was looking for an estate agent I could trust to handle the sale of a property, and based on this experience I will be taking my business elsewhere.
