3rd May 2026 (12 weeks ago)We would highly recommend Howkins and Harrison. Maddie, Lauren and Eve are all extremely professional and so dedicated to what they do. Maddie kept us in the loop throughout the whole process which was stressful at times and kept in contact with our solicitor and notified us immediately about the current situation. We are extremely grateful and so happy we are now in our lovely new home. Moving is inevitably stressful but instructing Howkins and Harrison was the best decision we could have made. Our brocure and accompanying video were excellent. We received many viewings and offers leading to a successful sale. Communications were excellent throughout. We would not hesitate to recommend Liz and Nicola.

Not only are they professional, approachable, and incredibly knowledgeable, but they genuinely care about making the moving process as smooth and stress-free as possible for their clients. As a conveyancer, I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside them on a number of transactions, and the communication is always excellent. They’re proactive, honest, and always willing to go the extra mile to keep everyone informed and help matters progress. David, Emma and the team were very professional, easy to get along well with, and always available to answer any questions we had throughout the whole process. The efficiency with which they liaised with other agents involved as well as conveyancers just made things run so smoothly. I would highly recommend Thorps to friends, family and anybody else who asks!

He always replied to messages swiftly – even on his day off – and we had complete faith in him. His advice was sound and timely and despite a nightmare journey through the conveyancing, he was determined to get us through to a successful sale. Any problems there on the ball and they are very on top of everything. From someone who thought these companies were all the same now I’ve seen both ends of the spectrum it’s definetly a huge difference and plus

His level of thoroughness impressed me immediately.<br><br>Matthew provided a TV-quality video walkthrough of my property, alongside high-quality photographs and impressive aerial drone footage. His timing was efficient, and he was flexible in accommodating our schedule from start to finish. His knowledge of marketing and the local property market proved invaluable, resulting in all of our viewings being completed within a single weekend and the forthcoming offers to purchase following quickly.<br><br>His valuation of my property and estimated timescale for the sale were accurate to the last pound, and we sold within the predicted timeframe with very little stress.<br><br>Most importantly, Matthew offered a genuinely personal approach that gave us confidence and reassurance throughout the transaction. We were selling our first home after living there for ten years, so it wasn’t an easy decision to leave. We were not just another house sale, Paul was supportive, informative, available even at night time when you may need answers Paul would reply. Communication was excellent, particularly in relation to viewings, with contact made by phone to arrange a viewing and feedback provided promptly afterwards. Throughout the whole process Chris was on hand to offer honest and helpful advice and always willing to respond to queries. As Ellis Brooke are a relatively small team you benefit from a more tailored and personable approach than larger firms might provide.

Adam came to the house 4 months before we put it on the market to advise on optimising our final DIY efforts to finish the renovation. He was so helpful through the photographing stage. Starla and Darcy were brilliant communicators through viewings and the conveyancing stages. Always prompt with answers to questions and kept tabs on all stages of the process for all houses in the chain so that we always felt we knew where we were and what was next.
